Yet another Yelp gem comes through! I did find this business through Yelp and they certainly didn't let me down. A few months ago, I had been super stressed out at work being an essential worker and all. After a long day of dealing with drama, I came home and scraped the front side of my new car while pulling into the garage. Ugh. I messaged Express Bumper through the "get a quote" option on their Yelp page. I revived an answer by the next day. I specifically dealt with someone named Tony, who let me know what shops they work out of and on what days. Brought my car early in the morning to Jim Marsh Kia, and Tony came out and met me in the parking lot. Said he already had the paint in stock and my car would only take about two hours. It ended up only taking one hour before I got a text to head back. The scratches were gone, and a sweet lady come out to bring me my keys and I paid in cash. I was actually given a small discount for being able to pay in cash versus using my card! Good experience, would recommend 10/10. PS- Rates/cost is AMAZING here. I had a grocery cart that someone pushed into my car bumper. When the cart hit my bumper it caused the paint to fall off and left a black area. I went to this company to have my bumper repaired where the paint was lost. They were so efficient and easy to deal with. Within 2.5 hours , they had worked their magic and my bumper looked brand new. I could not even tell that my bumper was once hit at all. I previously got a quote from a body shop and they gave me an estimate of $800 and informed me that I could pick it up in 3 days! From the day I picked my bumper up I could tell I had made a mistake by going the cheap route and coming here. It looked good upon first look but on closer inspection I could see so many flaws. I initially brought it here because I cracked the underside of my bumper and I wanted to get my license plate holes covered up. Let's start with the day I picked it up. When I looked closer I could tell there was debris still under the paint that made it look bumpy. The paint was also orange peel-y all over the entire bumper. I should have know I got screwed when they told me to be careful driving it and to leave it sitting in the sun to let the paint dry all the way. The color and texture of the paint didn't match at all. I called a couple days later to address these issues to which she said I could bring it in to be "buffed out". I came back to have it buffed out and they informed me that the whole bumper would need to be re done and I would need to pay for the paint. I was mad because why should I have to pay for your mistake? I didn't have I re done because I already paid 400 dollars and it looked terrible and I didn't want to pay anymore for it to look bad again. I figured I would cut my loses and go some place else. Now let's talk about now, about a year after I had the bumper done and it looks even worse. The paint is chipping off and you can see the white undercoat. The bumper repair has come undone and now the bottom of the bumper is hanging. The paint is even more bumpy and doesn't match. Don't take your car here if you want it done the right *Update* After I posted this they responded and said they don't remember doing my bumper but I literally have a screen shot of our conversation. Can I give zero stars??? Do not go here, worst experience ever! Mike and his wife are the rudest people I've ever had to deal with in my entire life. Called a week ago for an estimate which Mike was able to give me over the phone after texting him a couple pictures of my scratched bumper. Made an appointment for the following week on February 1, he asked me to be there at 8:30 AM as he would have to order the paint to fix my bumper. I explained to him that I had to drop my daughter off at school at 8:45 AM and that I couldn't be there until 9 o'clock. I asked him if that would be a problem and he said that's fine just text him the make and model and vin # of my car so he could order the paint ahead of time. I texted him all the info he asked me for and I told him I would see him on the 1st. I had to call into work that day as they would have my car for 5 hours ( understandable) and I wouldn't have been able to make it to work on time. So took the day off which obviously cost me money.... He works out of different dealerships so when I arrived at 9:00 that morning I called him to let him know I was outside and he said OK I'll send someone out. So a couple minutes later this little old lady approaches my car and starts bitching me out for not being there at 8:30. She was yelling at me and telling me why wasn't I here earlier, we needed to order the paint etc. going on and on. I was like who are you?! She was like you spoke to my husband. I was like well you need to go speak to your husband because we already had an arrangement that he would have already ordered the paint and that I would be here at 9 o'clock. She wasn't trying to listen to me and just kept yelling over me. We exchanged a few words and she told me to leave. I said no problem. On my way home I called Mike, the guy I made the appointment with, and asked him what the problem was??? He proceeded to cuss me out told me fuck you and called me a bitch. He said go somewhere else. Wow! I wouldn't give these people a dime of my money if they were the last bumper repair place on the planet. They have no respect for your time or money and are generally just horrible human beings. I'm a researcher (duh, I'm a yelper)! I definitely shopped around before I made my choice. Yelp makes it so easy to get quotes without having to call and talk to a bunch of people. I just simply sent out messages to top rated bumper specialists with a picture of my bumper and they all got back to me. Tony had the best deal. I'm thinking it because he's mobile. He works out of different dealerships during the week. He's prompt on his messaging response too! He let me know that he would be at the shop at 730am, and although I aimed for that time, I definitely took a while getting up with all the alcohol in my system from the night before. Anyways, I let him know I was late and he let me know that was fine. Took a lyft home, ran a couple errands, had breakfast and Nala was ready!
