They did an excellent job, and the gates are of very good quality! It matches my other 2 double gates on the South side that are 24 years old also installed by Jerry. Jerry also adjusted my older gates since time has made them sag a bit. Jerry just wanted a happy customer and didn't expect payment for the adjustments. I insisted on at least rounding up my price. Needing to make a change we went to Yelp and found Advance Doors. Chris followed up with me immediately...we arranged a meeting so that he could inspect the doors and give me a quote. Ultimately, I chose Advance Doors and Chris in particular because of his flexibility...during that first schedule meeting...my schedule changed suddenly and he instead met with my realtor. He adjusted to the change, no problem, and followed up with a reasonable quote to replace two old doors with new style track slide up doors with openers. I also had him instal a rollup door (like those on industrial business for my workshop(adjacent to the garage). We had to change the install dates a couple of time due to my schedule and the weather and through it all Chis was cool. He's a personable person, works efficiently and I couldn't be happier with the result and experience. I certainly recommend Advance Doors, I'm sure all the installers are just as awesome as Chris but that's who I'd ask for, based on my experience.

Previously, we had been told by another contractor that we immediately needed to replace everything and was given an $1,100 quote. Paul and his partner (I think his name was Ron - my apologies for not remembering!) not only said that it wasn't necessary, but easily fixed the issue as well as explained in detail as to what the issue was in the first place. They answered the call right away and, as before, were very professional and set an appointment to come out and diagnose our problem. Miguel came out within a couple hours, took a look and confirmed the spring had gone to wherever broken springs go. Of course our home builder used the cheapest door they could find (Miguel was impressed it lasted as long as it did) so we got a fair price to replace the spring components for the next morning. Miguel showed up on time, took about an hour to replace the entire mechanism, tested it several times and throughly explained what was done and why. Renewal by Andersen was also very accommodating when we requested that installation be completed in one day to meet our needs. On June 16, 2023, a team of six installers arrived. Mike, Max, and Velgin installed the front windows, which were larger and more complex. Their skill and precision were impressive, especially given the size and weight of the units. They also installed the patio wood and bathroom windows. Jose, David, and Steven handled the west-side windows. Jose R., the Project Manager, completed a bedroom window that required stucco cutting to meet current fire codes. His workmanship was first-rate, and the finished result looks beautiful. During installation, a cracked bedroom window and patio lock were identified. Burtiny Carter promptly arranged for replacements after we sent photos, and both were replaced on October 18, 2023. We also appreciated Christynn in Permits for her assistance. The windows have exceeded our expectations in quality and appearance for over 2 and half years. The entire visit felt like a long sales presentation rather than someone actually trying to help with my window project. To make matters worse, he never even gave me a real quote. It was more like him saying the project would probably be around $60,000 for 15 windows and 2 sliders. There was no real breakdown or formal estimate, just a number thrown out there after all the talking. I had already received other quotes around $20,000 for similar work. When I mentioned that, the sales rep said that if someone is quoting $20,000 it must be cheap products that will not last more than six years. That sounded more like a scare tactic than an honest explanation. The most annoying part was at the end. I told him that it seemed like he did not even want to measure anything around my house and that it was fine if he just left. Instead of addressing that, he actually had the audacity to tell me that a survey would be coming and asked me to give him a 10 star review. After sitting through a long sales pitch, not even receiving a real quote, and then being asked for a perfect review, the whole experience felt like a complete waste of time. I simply wanted someone to come out, measure the windows, and give me a fair and honest price.
