Generally, I've had a pleasant experience with this company. However, I had recently purchased a product that upset my stomach and I tried to return it. Two people told me that was not possible since it was a food product (Whole Foods stands behind their products, right?). They did not even offer me a coupon or extra discount on my new purchases. I told them and their manager (who sits behind the counter all day doing nothing) that I would not be returning since they do not stand behind their products. They did not even respond - other than to say they were sorry. You'd think a company would stand behind the products they sell - but this one does not. Buyer beware with this company, and don't expect a refund or an extra discount / coupon if you don't care for a product you purchased - even at their "recommendation." In these Covid days when dollars are dear, these folks will not treat you properly. Good luck, Mother Earth Farmacy...there are plenty of competitive shops within two blocks of you who I'll bet hold their customers in higher regard. read more

My Mom came to visit and didn't have her regular CBD oil with her for pain relief. I Yelped and found Mother's Earth Farmacy not too far away, and could not have been more pleased with my choice. Dylan, Kasey, and Savannah were all SO NICE. The guys were so helpful to my mom and knowledgeable about what to get. On vacation in Palm Springs and wanted to pick up some pre-rolls to help keep the vacay chill...this place was only a mile and a half from our hotel, and we decided to stop here based on the reviews. The reviews didn't disappoint. The staff here was very knowledgeable, and helped us to quickly pick out some pre rolls and some edibles. I didn't get their names (one male and one female) both of them were super nice. I'd recommend this spot if your looking for you THC or CBD needs. Outstanding in all aspects... veteran friendly & and supportive great deals and quality

Well, what can I say--I haven't been to a dispensary since recreational marijuana was legalized, so I don't have a comparable place to compare it to. However, I can share my impressions. For one thing, I found I could purchase single joints, or jars full of buds; more than I can consume in a year or more. But I am not your typical pot consumer, I assume. If you spend a minimum amount you can purchase 2 of the very commercially packages joints for $1. So that was a deal I guess. However, it really didn't seem like there was a lot of choices. I allowed the advisors to steer me to a couple strains, after hearing my preferences. A 1/8th of each of the two strains I purchased was $60 each. They also have edibles, and their offerings are quite potent, albeit expensive which is common. My previous dispensary would let me purchase one or two buds, weighing them by hand, and charging around $18 (last year). They also had rows of canisters filled to the brim, with many strains, which they would allow you to view AND smell, a bonus! This isn't that kind of store. However, their packaging--both the jars and the packaged joints--include careful reference to the strains, the type, the percentages of THC and CBD and seem very professionally produced and packaged. That may be preferable to many looking for a clinical setting with reliable product and accurate measurements. Both of the employees who waited on me were very friendly and Michelle, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable about both her vendors, the products and the science. This place won't replace my previous dispensary, which feels more like an old fashioned candy shop, but I can recommend it for the quality products and the open pharmacy-like atmosphere. read more

Wanted to try their cbd oil for arthritic pain in my knees..was a little hesitant since I may be subjected to random drug testing ..but I've researched this possibility and when I was ready went to this wonderful place.Kacey helped me out reassured me of what item I chose to help with the pain, and he was able to educate me also about their other products as well as their daily discounts and the other products they have. A neat, clean and simple shop with kind employees who know their products well. I chose this dispensary as I was looking for Care By Design vape cartridges that are one of the few with high CBD/THC ratios (1:1 up to 18:1) as my use oncology nurses recommended the use of CBD products for pain, nausea, sleep and anxiety. They also have tinctures. I felt very comfortable discussing my health issues/cancer with the staff. They even came out to ask if I wanted a photo with my service dog in front of the darling globe of Earth that marks their store front. A very pleasant experience overall. read more

Now that I'm back at their home in the valley, I have some downtime and really needing some rest! I was referred to Mother Earth's by a colleague who goes there. They had a great selection of products that assist with "quality sleep" (that I really need!) and many other options for people that partake. Knowledgeable staff and very clean shop. I can tell they take pride in doing things right. Even the security look like some of the team guys I work with! Terrible customer service. Don't bother going to this dispensary when there are so many better options out there. The sales guy roped me in by telling me that a product they had in their store would be great for sleep, because they didn't have the product in stock that I have used for sleep for many years. So based on his recommendation, I purchased the product that they had in their store. I also purchased Papa and Barkley lotion based on his recommendation that it smelled exactly like the Papa and Barkley oil I've been using for years. The sleep product the sales guy recommended didn't work at all (it actually had the exact opposite effect of what he told me it would have and it wired me--I was literally up all night and was exhausted the entire next day from no sleep). Interestingly, when I returned to their store to try to get a fair resolution for their mistake and their misrepresentation, one salesgirl at Desert Kush did admit to me that sometimes CBN has the opposite effect of sleep--thanks for telling me that after the fact!! I wish they had told me that about CBN's anti-sleep effect BEFORE I purchased the product Desert Kush pushed on me. Despite their mistake, they refused to do ANYTHING for me after I politely asked if they could make an exchange for just one of the two products I had purchased. The other product was also a misrepresentation- they had told me that the Papa and Barkley lotion smelled the exact same as the Papa and Barkley oil I've been using for years--which it certainly does not, the lotion smells awful, like a dead skunk, compared to the oil (which smells like lavender). So Desert Kush misled me on TWO products just to make a buck. How gross. They told me it was "the law" that they couldn't help me with an exchange or substitute product despite THEIR mistake and THEIR misrepresentation. Clearly these idiots don't understand the legal theory of fraudulent misrepresentation. Also, I know that them telling me there is nothing they can do for me is a lie, and that it's discretionary, because in the past with other dispensaries if something didn't work out, other dispensaries were happy to either exchange a product or give me some other product at no cost or at a heavy discount to make up for the issue. One of the salesgirls (the one with glasses) was very nice and said they might be able to help me, but when she asked the other salesgirl (the girl with the nose ring and the appallingly snotty attitude who clearly hates her job and her life and doesn't care about customers one iota), the snotty sales girl said (without any hint of understanding or politeness) that there was "nothing they could do" for me. No apology, no kindness, no courtesy--nothing. It's all about customer service and clearly this girl (and the management) doesn't understand the lifetime value of a customer (or CLV as we call it in advertising/marketing). So bottom line is- Don't bother going to Desert Kush. They clearly care only about getting your money even if they have to lie to you to do so. They don't have a clue about customer service, and it's also eminently clear that they're not smart enough to realize they have a TON of competition in the cannabis dispensary business and that customers have plenty of other choices. Also, fyi Desert Kush- the sales guy never gave me a sales receipt stating that everything was final sale, so perhaps mention that BEFORE someone leaves your store/BEFORE they purchase. And as I mentioned, other dispensaries are happy to try to help work something out with you by giving you an exchange for the product that didn't work out, because other dispensaries are smart enough to know the value of the customer and other dispensaries always make things right. Desert Kush doesn't get it. They got my $60 but they lost me as a customer--a very dumb decision on their part, especially given the power of Yelp and Social Media. It's not even about the money for me, it's about the appallingly rude way the sales person treated me that is not ok. No one deserves that kind of shabby treatment. Especially when there are so many other better choices out there in terms of dispensaries for selection, price, and customer service. I'm sure they'll write some nasty response denying or disputing my honest Yelp feedback try to salvage their reputation, however everything I've said is 100% true, and believe me- I'm far too busy to waste time writing a lengthy Yelp review for no reason, so you know I feel strongly about how they treated me. read more

The people that work there are super informative about there products and don't mind at all answering questions, I had a million of them, they were patient and helped me find the best products for me !!! I went to this location because all the reviews on Yelp were so good and honestly...they were all accurate!! My friends and I were in for a long weekend, wanted a few items to relax by the pool. The staff was so friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. The location was easy to get to, had ample parking, the check in was quick and easy, and I think we spoke with everyone who worked there...they were all so nice!!!
