I had the most amazing tour of the desert with a bridal party in March! Our tour guide Megan was amazing! She was so genuinely kind, attentive, and just overall wonderful! I would 100% recommend this to anybody coming out to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Experiencing this made me want to do it again! Thank you, Meghan, for making it so special!
We're very happy to give a big thanks to Megan with Desert Monsters Tours. We spent two hours on a great ride in the Four Peaks recreation area. Megan took us on fun and informative ride in two distinctly different terrains. During two short breaks she entertained us with history and animals of the area. The Honda 4-seater ATV was a great machine, comfy and powerful. I'm sure all guides here are great, but we feel lucky to have had Megan lead us through the desert. Big Thank You!
My wife another couple and I arrived on time to find Spencer and the ATV's ready to go. After our safety meeting and getting geared out we started out on our 2 hour excursion. We braved twists, turns, bumps and humps and a couple of puddles to arrive at our first destination/break which was an area that had numerous cacti and native plants that Spencer went over with us. We had time to snack on chips and water before heading out to our second destination which was a bluff with amazing sunset views where we took plenty of photos and rested before we headed back to end the tour. Spencer was very thorough with his instructions which led to us having an amazing excursion. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting Arizona.
A large van picked up the group of ladies I was with for a bachelorette party. We were picked up and dropped off at our AirBnb, which was super convenient. Our tour guide, Ken, made everything super easy. The entire excursion had been well planned and organized. We had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and he also took pictures for us. It was a great experience for me and many of the girls in my group wanted to do it again for their own bachelorette parties.
This company is AWESOME! We are locals who had never seen the sights this way; there were folks from all over and even a bachelorette party (who got special pink helmets, SO cute). The company made sure to remind us of the meeting spot (it's not the office address) and guides were all very mellow, knowledgeable and safety-oriented. That being said, they are sticklers for safety so you can go fast & have a blast - which we DID! We road around for about two hours, with our guide taking tons of cute photos for us. There's a stopping point with absolutely incredible views of the forest and AZ topographical landmarks. And on our tour we happened to see the first snake of the warm season! (And it was lovely to see the guides and fellow drivers all be respectful of the little guy).
Took the family out for a fun day of SXS riding through the desert and we struck gold by getting Dan as our guide. He answered all of our question, made sure everyone was having a great time and took pictures of our family and sent them to us that night (no charge). If you are in the area and you want to have a good time, stop and ask for Dan
Great experience, came here with a group of 7 for a bachelorette party. We had Jennifer as our guide. She was super nice and fun! Even gave the bride the white helmet to match her outfit teehee. The instructions were super clear. It sounded scary but it wasn't that bad haha. The ride was really fun, trail was great. ‼I would highly highly recommend wearing a hoodie/jacket if you're doing the sunset tour. ‼ the weather was colder in the desert, there's wind, and after sunset it's freezing lol. Only thing I regretted... also you will get HELLA dusty just FYI lol. Jennifer even had water and chips for us when we got to the half way point for photos. She took so many photos lol and sent them all to us about an hour after we left. We also had a bus pick us up and take us back and we could play our own music. It was a fun time!
BOOK NOW! We booked a tour for my cousin's bachelorette and we had a blast!!! We were a group of 7, most of us newbies! Some more nervous than others. We got a good safety course, and then our guide Martin was there with us every step of the way. He was beyond helpful and a blast!!! He gave us advice the entire ride and was constantly looking back to make sure we were all okay. He had no problem taking several photos of us as group and then of our bride! If you are debating on booking, go for it! You will not regret spending the money. Be prepared to get dirty and don't bring any valuable belonging. Most sunglasses do not fit under the goggles. But this is a must for anyone visiting the Scottsdale/Phoenix area!
Desert Monsters was hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had. Clear and easy commutation and amazing tour guide (shoutout to Jen for making me feel comfortable driving the ATV). We did the sunset tour and it was absolutely perfect. They provide snacks, helmet, goggles, neck gator, and give a safety talk. YOU WILL GET COVERED IN DUST! Wear pants and a sweatshirt, something you don't care about. There is also no bathrooms out there so pee before you go! The views were incredible and they take photos of you during the ride which turned out amazing. Would recommend to anyone, worth the money!!
This was so much fun for our bachelorette party. They did a great job of explaining how to drive the AT a and made us really comfortable. They clearly get a lot of bachelorette parties (like everywhere else in Scottsdale) and they had themed gators. They also provided jackets and gloves which were a must in February. They took us to a really great spot for pictures and took some really fun ones. Clearly they're super experienced and pros at leading groups like ours.

A complete VIBE! Spencer was our guide and it was just us with him, so it felt like a private tour which I loved! I had never gone ATV riding before, but now I'm obsessed and want to go again. Spencer was very informative about how to turn on our vehicle, helmet and goggle placement, scarf placement (he provided the scarves for us to keep) to prevent as much dust from entering your mouth while driving, and ultimately how to drive the the ATV safely. Periodically he would make stops to describe the history of different cacti or different overlooks for photo opportunities. I had so much fun and left very dusty but very happy lols definitely check them out if you're in the Scottsdale or Phoenix area! read more

Great trip out on the UTVs! They provide great information of what to wear and how to get there. I rented a car however if you have uber or lyft it might be a little difficult to find. Our guide was so sweet and funny. They will also take the best photos of you and your group. You will get dirty! Goggles, , helmets, neck cover that also went over the face was definitely helpful. Don't recommend bringing any purses or bags. They will provide water and chips! 10/10 recommend! read more
Went on the Off Road Desert Sunset Tour for 1-2 people and asked for Martyn because he had personally recommended this tour when we met him in Kansas City several months ago. What a GREAT TIME! Not only did we have a wonderful time in a glorious setting, but an experience like none other. My friend drove their very well maintained and incredibly rugged ATV (not expecting that experience at all but loving every moment!) and I laughed the whole way! Martin was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. We are so thankful we met him to know about this company and the work they do to help people fall in love with the desert. read more

This is one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. If you are visiting Arizona, this is the first thing you should do to see the beauty of the west side!!! The tour guides are funny and considerate. They provided pictures as part of the package as well . read more

Mike and Dave were AMAZING- he guided my friends and I on Friday night! It was a bachelorette party of 7 girls. We each drove our own utv. It looked like a dune buggy but was easy to handle. We originally thought we were getting quads but I liked this better. Mike was very attentive to my friend Elise who was nervous and he made sure she never got left behind and was able to fully participate. So kind and thoughtful. We were worried about the rain coming in, so we all prepped for it but we ended up with the best views and no issues! You're gonna get a little muddy, but it's like battle scars! I liked that the vehicles protected my sneakers because they were the only pair I brought on vacation. read more
Mike and Kendrick were so great! They took the time to make sure all drivers understood how to drive the UTV. We were all in 2 seater side by sides. Located in Tonto National Forest. Here: 33°40'09.7"N 111°29'43.7"W We would definitely do this again! Only downside is that you can only go as fast as the most novice driver in your group (there were 3 UTVs in our group all following our guide, Mike). We hit a top speed of 29mph due to some younger drivers. We chose the evening ride. 6-8pm. As soon as the sun started going down, the temp dropped 10°. Cool going back in the dark, but don't book a nighttime ride, as you'll miss the beautiful scenery. $300 for 2 people in a side by side Bombardier UTV. read more

I tagged along with my friend for her work trip to Arizona and we were looking for something fun to do on her downtime. We are so glad we chose this company. We had an excellent time! Our awesome guide led us on the most exciting fun tour on ATV ever. We saw beautiful vistas and went all around the Tonto National Forest until sunset. Gorgeous photo opportunities! Cannot say enough great things about this company. Very funny, knowledgeable and safe, as well. read more

Super enjoyed this RZR rip! Took the Can-Am xp1000 turbo 4 person. The map they give for you to follow is a dope trail that weaves through the bottom of slot canyons to the verde river to the top for the sic views. Worth it. read more
I went on a Monday by myself -- I'm from out of town so it was a little nerve wracking going into the middle of the desert alone. However, they prepared me nicely with what to do before and what to bring. The coordinates they provide are accurate and I had no issues with GPS. Lots of parking! There is no service in the area but it's easy to get back on the highway and head back to the city. Again, I had no issues. The weather was amazing & Steve was AWESOME as a guide. I know no one loves the "safety talk" but his advice was key to my experience. I'm typically a scaredy cat when it comes to adventurous things but he mentioned that any thing his vehicle goes over, mine can too at the same speed. He even took pictures for me & sent them after and thanked me for coming. Hearing the history of the desert was great and the views were spectacular. Prepare to get there a few minutes early, sign a paper, get your goggles and helmet on. I still ended up getting dirt all over my body but worth it!! Don't wear anything nice haha! 10/10 recommend and will do again! THANKS STEVE AND MEGAN!!!!! read more

Had an awesome experience renting dune buggies here for my friend's bachelorette party! the instructors were really friendly, but also didn't micro-manage. We had a great time, wish we could have hung at the spots longer- the views were amazing. I would certainly recommend this company if you're looking for a fun desert adventure! read more

Wow what a great Tour group guide and UTV, was greeted very nicely upon arrival, given proper instructions and safety protocols, we were on out way, loved the Desert scenery and the trails, I highly and I mean highly recommend this company, I was treated like a King and my family felt very safety. read more
