Went here beginning of March for a bachelors - absolutely fine weather in Scottsdale. Entering in the desert area was a rush. The UTV held up nicely, even after putting it in full throttle. We tackled some short hills nicely. How do you know you can take on these hills? Well there would be tire paths which means its been done before. Although think about it though before doing anything too crazy, unless you know what youre doing! Experience was nothing short of extreme, perfect for a short 2 hour excursion. Our party of six went exploring today, and had the best time! We rented a pair of UTVs here. It is a first class operation. They walked us through the trail and gave us an app. A small cooler with ice cold water provided. All of the safety gear was ready to go. The process to pickup and drop off went quick. DJ and Conrad killed it. read more

We had family friends in town and wanted to show them what the Arizona Desert has to offer. So we decided to book a four hour quad seat ATV. The staff was very friendly and provide both printed maps and a very cool technology (app) that we downloaded right onto our phone that provide a live map view as we were riding. We rented a 2 passenger UTV for an off road adventure. The route we were given was 60% asphalt and 40% gravel road. We could have taken our car the entire way. We didn't pay $300 + 91 octane gas for a road trip. My intent was to take my daughter on an adventure. What a waste of time and money. Don't rent from this company- just use your car with air conditioning and music. read more

I went for the first time the other weekend with my boyfriend to enjoy the beautiful sunny day outside. We drove up from Tucson, AZ to spend 4 hours renting quads. The rental company provided a designated trail that takes about 2 hours to complete. My boyfriend and I were at the end of our trail (Stop 10) on the map and I ended up falling off the side of the hill due to the breaks not working properly. There was no sign stating that this trail wasn't allowed. I fell down about 20 feet down the hill, the quad crushing me on the way down. I went to the hospital and got X-rays done on my neck, spine and right knee. During the scene of the accident, we immediately called Extreme Arizona and explained what happened. Unfortunately, the lady on the phone Mia, was more concerned about the machine than my own health. We previously called them because we were having issues with the quad before hurting myself in the end. I'm giving this company a 1 star because the trails were very bumpy & they handled the situation very poorly. They charged me $5,000 for the damage of an old 2006 quad, with a bunch of unnecessary fees that is NOT mentioned in the contract. I did my research and the price for a brand new TRX 250 quad is $1,990. You're screwed if you get into an accident or accidentally damage it since the company itself does not have insurance. I recommend going to "Phoenix ATV & Jet Ski Rental" in Phoenix or "Western Offroad Adventures" in New River. read more

10/10 would recommend to a friend. Came in for a short weekend to play golf with buddies, but escaped for a day of desert dirt biking. I'm so incredibly happy with Extreme Arizona and the whole experience provided by them. Cave Creek is within close proximity to Phoenix, so it made the drive up very quick and easy. Their website is super straight forward, easy to use and flows well, so booking a couple days before my trip was simple, with very detailed information forwarded to you once booked. I was greeted with first class service, and taken care of extremely well. I was fortunate to work with one of the owners, Taylor, who was a very kind and friendly individual. He made the experience much more enjoyable with his helpfulness and wisdom given his extensive experience riding. This included knowledge of the surrounding area where you'll most likely ride. A clear map was provided with markings and directions to make it fool proof. They outfit you with everything you'll need for your ride. Knee pads, elbow pads, Riding pants, Riding shirt, chest protector, gloves, helmet, goggles and a waist pack were all provided. They are cleaned after every ride, don't worry Karen. What I would do differently: -BRING MORE WATER -bring snacks -more phone battery -go with a friend ? -go earlier in the day to avoid running out of daylight -ride more cautiously and not break the machine I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy your time renting from Experience Arizona. All their equipment is very new, high performing, and well maintained. The customer service was top notch, and I will FOR SURE be returning here next time i'm down in AZ ! read more

Great experience renting dune buggies! This was my first time riding dune buggies. My friend and I did an 8 hour rental. The rental process can be done entirely online and is fairly easy. The staff is very friendly and give you a detailed description of the trail that you tour. They take the time to set you up and feel confident about going onto the trail. The trail itself was beautiful with lots of cacti and scenic views. However, it does have a lot of rocks and bumps. I really enjoyed it because makes the ride feel like a rollercoaster. We didn't end up needing the entire 8 hours, but it was nice to take a break in the middle and grab some lunch. Overall, this was such a fun and memorable experience to do in Arizona. read more

Rented a pontoon and two jetskis for a family day out on the water. The staff of Extreme AZ was helpful, courteous and professional. The equipment was top notch and we all had a blast! One small note - the Seadoo pontoon was super cool but doesn't have much power so we cruised along pretty slowly; we switched to four on the jetskis and four on the pontoon when we wanted to get up a little speed to head back to the marina. Absolutely awesome experience!!! Our group of 5 came in from the east coast and made reservations online. We reserved a half day with two single rider ATVs and one four person UTV. When we arrived, we decided we felt more comfortable with one single rider ATV and one four person UTV. The gentlemen checking us in immediately refunded us for our unused single rider ATV without question. They were very thorough in their explanation of the trails, map, and how to get there. There was careful emphasis on which parts of the trail we would need to pay the most attention to. Helmets, goggles/eye protection, Fanny packs, and sunscreen are available free of extra charge. They do have bandanas and snacks available for purchase. Equipment was in great working condition and we didn't have any problems whatsoever on the trails - and I have to mention how absolutely gorgeous the scenery was the entire way. We rented on a Friday and the security deposit for the vehicles was released immediately upon vehicle inspection when we returned, and was back on my card by Saturday (I have Fifth Third Bank). We truly believe we got the best experience for the best price in Phoenix. Thank you Extreme Arizona for an amazing time. Tips: bring more water than you think you need, you will get dirty but not too bad, bring portable charger for electronics! read more

We randomly decided to check it out after driving past. We weren't prepared by any means and they explained the options, how it all worked, step-by-step guidance for the trails and the UTV rundown. We were also able to book half the time since there was availability. I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the employees. As first-timers, driving a UTV through the desert and on public roadways to arrive at the trails, we felt they prepared us properly. They provided us with a navigation app, plenty of water, and helmets. We had an absolute blast and are so happy we were able to jump on the opportunity to book! read more

I'm actually really surprised these people even sent me a review link considering we asked for a discounted ride at the end of our visit. My family and I were in town for my birthday weekend and decided it would be fun to ride some atvs! When we arrived to the store we were greeted by 3 friendly people, one being the owner! They went over all of the rules, the trail, safety precautions etc. and we were on our way! We signed up for a two hour ride. We left and drove down cave creek road for a good while and as soon as we approached the trailhead we were approached by a sheriff who was blocking the trailhead off due to a pretty big wildfire. By the time we got to the trailhead we only had about an hour and 15 minutes left of our ride time. We weren't familiar with the other trails we were able to ride as they only went over the details for this specific trail which was closed off so we decided to head back to the storefront. On our way back we stopped at the gas station to fill up our atvs as this is what they had asked of us. When we pulled up to the pump, my boyfriend and I got out of our ATV and had noticed transmission fluid leaking like crazy. We called Extreme Arizona and they were able to get someone to the gas station with a trailer to pick us and the ATV up. When we arrived back at the storefront my boyfriend went inside to speak to the owner to see if there may be a possibility to give us a discounted ride whenever it worked best for them (didn't have to be this weekend) due to us not being able to ride the trails but also because we paid a pretty good chunk of money for an ATV that would've broken down on us anyways if we had gotten the chance to ride it on the trail. The owner said "nah man I didn't start the fire." No crap! Really!? The reason for us asking in the first place is because we 1, paid for a 2 hour ride, made it 45 minutes down the road, still went to fill up your ATV, and the thing crapped out on us. Had we been on the trail, we would've still lost our transmission fluid and been waiting for a ride in the middle of nowhere. The lack of good customer service is insane. For being a small business owner you'd think you'd care a little more about your customers. read more

We would highly recommend Extreme Arizona. We are local to the area and took our friends from Scotland on a desert tour. The ATVs were great, well maintained, very clear direction on how to use and trails are very close by. Four hours allows for at least two runs through the course. We were there on their busiest day of the year, day after thanksgiving, and while they were busy-the course was not too crowded and pick up and return handled efficiently. Would recommend for beginners to advanced. read more

Janet is soooo patient and personable. Coming from Tucson to Cave Creek I wanted to ask as many questions as I can before I drove 2 hours. Before I even booked my appointment she answered all my questions. My only drawback was the map and trying to stay on trail. I spent the majority of the time off trail and by the time I figured it out it was time to return the quad. If there was a better modern system over than a map I would've been pleased . Five stars if the ease of trail access was easier to find. I'll be back for sure to adventure the area. Great service. PLEASE DO BE ADVISED, if you're not a vetted dirtbike rider get a quad or side by side. I've been riding dirt bikes for years but I couldn't imagine riding through the washes. read more

Wow! Talk about an awesome experience. We rented a side by side and had an amazing experience. We showed up, checked in, they told us about different routes that we can check out and soon we were in the side by side. I have rented UTVs in the past and I have not always received the best vehicle. They have turbocharged Can-Ams here! Not what I was expecting! Much better! They were fast and the suspension was unbelievable. We had a lot of fun exploring the desert! We saw a gila monster and a deer while driving around in the desert. Such a memorable experience.
