I imagine the Coachella crowd eats up a lot of the merch here. Prices are very good for the wares; I saw a 60's faux fur tiger patterned coat for $250 that I've seen in L.A. for $800 for the exact same one. (it's killer - and I have one myself!) The woman working the counter was very friendly and was overheard recommending other vintage stores to customers which earns mad respect from me. My one piece of bitchery is due to the lack of parking; I have a car that I need to keep an eye on and I had to park far away which kept me a bit uncomfortable. If you're shopping here from L.A. that will not bother you at all. I highly recommend spending quality time and money at Thriftology!

The place is huge and is unique in that part of its store is out door, offering a hybrid shopping experience. The shops are separated by sections. There are areas specified for furniture, appliances, kitchenware, clothes, decor, toys and more. Inside they have a higher end boutique style area. They also have super special saving deal days with 20-50% off. My only issue is that the craft, toy and baby clothes are minimal.

We also had a lovely conversation with the owner, who couldn't have been more welcoming (and was perfectly dressed in vintage style!). I think they should expand hours but they don't want to and that's fine. I never insulted you but you insulted me. Closed when I came twice. They close before 5 PM on the days they are open, then half the week they are closed. I came on a 4 day trip and didn't catch this place open once.

I've been to this store several times since we bought a home out here - nearby (Sunshine Summit)…read more It's the only closest thrift store right by us, but you got lots of choices driving a bit aways; ie Temecula, Palm Desert-Palm Springs, Borrego Springs-the great seasonal one by the American Legion & Ramona. But I love this one because it's closest, has a lot of a little of everything & hard to find items the others don't have. Some furniture & hardware-men stuff, but I love the country knick knacks, vintage & modern clothing, antiques and baby-kid stuff. The prices are truly thrift prices and the owners are so cool & sweet excelling at giving customer service. I had my granddaughter with us & her mommy forgot to pack enough pull-ups & I saw some half packs of diapers there & grabbed one her size & it was a lifesaver! I practically go there every month, what a nice "all things when they have it & you need in a pinch" to have in Anza of all places. Reminds me of Retro Row in East Long Beach artsy area.

When I went recently, all the regular items were 50% off (didn't include the fancy items like jewelry & collectibles inside the register building). Wait, the shirts are only $2 in the first place, so now they're $1? And a sweater is $2. Ummm, OK, are you sure?! I got some great vintage jewelry this time. A small Native American cross set with turquoise for $5, and 2 brass rings with semi-precious scarabs for $3 each. You have to know what you're looking at, and they do price things up sometimes ( they had a SS pair of earrings for $20+, not that good a bargain compared to what I got). It's also where locals go to get extra blankets & furniture for their cabins & homes. You can get chairs & sofas super cheap, or even free sometimes.

I love history and i love museums and collecting things that they have story behind it...Eventhough I dont know their story but i like the vibe...Parking is very tricky and if its busy it will be hard to find one... It is a vintage store so the prices are given to the product by value...And in my opinion for some items they were asking so cheap! Some items were reasonably priced...
