    Ringworm from infectious cat

We adopted two kittens from this rescue and were not told that they had ringworm. Their ringworm treatment was also omitted from their medical files, but their foster admitted they had ringworm and had been treated for ringworm through the rescue's volunteer vet. Now my daughter is covered all over her body with ringworm - 29 total lesions. Had we received a full disclosure about the cats medical history we would have likely caught it much sooner. We're looking at hundreds if not thousands of dollars for sanitization and medical expenses and at least four to six weeks to eliminate the spores from our carpeted home. I'm reading this could realistically take months to truly eliminate. We adopted these pets to bring joy in our home and now we're living in a nightmare.

The best part is they informed us how their rescue works and assured us that they are there for us 100% through the whole process. Even after adopting your new pup. I love how super quick they are to responding to messages, emails, phone calls. They really want to find their puppies and dogs, a forever Home. We are happy with our new Pup Tank and we renamed him Milo. Thank you Follow Your Heart Rescue for allowing us to believe in 2nd chances and helping us find our new fur family member! He is so loved! The event was a bit chaotic in knowing how to fill out what to get to meet a dog but it all worked out. We were shocked novody else was interested in this sweet boy and his foster eas very kind and informative to help us make sure he was a good fit for our home. They were also very patient with us running around to grab supplies. While the adoption fee is a bit higher than some rescues there is a tax break and it's nice that majority if the shots were paid and planned along with the neutering. Andy came home healthy with us and immediately took to his big sister who he loves so much. It was nice that he had spent time with his siblings so he was used to having another dog around and is just a great pup for our family! Can't imagine not having adopted him the day we met him.

I am requesting that this matter be reviewed because I believe the business failed to provide fair and meaningful resolution despite the significant financial and emotional hardship that followed. After purchasing the dog and bringing it home, we learned that it had major medical problems that ultimately led to more than \$8,000 in veterinary expenses. Both our veterinarian and the surgeon advised that the condition was hereditary. Despite receiving this information, Puppies N Love has not, in my view, accepted appropriate responsibility for the costs associated with the dog's condition. Any assistance discussed appears to be limited to store credit rather than meaningful reimbursement for the substantial out-of-pocket expenses we have incurred. I am also concerned about the representations made during the sales process and the company's warranty practices. At the time of purchase, we were given the impression that the dog could potentially be bred or shown, which suggested a certain level of health and suitability. Because of the dog's medical condition, those options are no longer possible. This has caused me to question whether the dog's health background was fully disclosed and whether the information provided at the time of sale was accurate, complete, and responsible. As a result of this condition, our dog now requires two surgeries and may face a diminished quality of life at a very young age. This experience has been emotionally distressing and financially damaging. Through this complaint, I am requesting a fair resolution, including meaningful reimbursement for the veterinary expenses related to the hereditary condition, as well as accountability for the manner in which this sale and its aftermath were handled. I believe consumers deserve transparency, accurate disclosures, and responsible follow-through when serious health issues arise after the purchase of a pet.

We have found that this shelter really cares about their pups, especially what type of home an adoptee is going to be part of. They do a great job of matching up their new family members. Valley Dogs is an extremely caring group that really does match up pups and their families. We are grateful they care so much about the pups in need! I have…read morefostered dogs for several local and non-local rescue groups including Valley Dogs, but what strikes me most about Valley Dogs is the animals they choose to pull from the shelters. Valley Dogs is run by a man named Michael West. From what I've observed, Michael chooses to take on the dogs that need the most help medically - the dogs hit by cars, obese owner surrenders, pregnant owner surrenders, older dogs with big hearts (figuratively) and medical conditions... I am not sure how he manages to finance all of this. Valley Dogs holds a few fund raisers through out the year, but I know the cost to get his dogs in good enough health to be adopted must be daunting. I can see the stress in his face every time I see him. However, he keeps pulling dogs in great need from the shelter because I don't think he can turn away. All of Valley Dogs rescues are fostered before they go up for adoption. This is a fantastic thing. Michael takes on a lot of these dogs. There is always a beautiful and kind red head (his wife?) that is with him at the adoptions and an older veteran as well. They foster a lot of the dogs, too. They know the quirks and idiosyncrasies of each of the dogs they foster. This helps with placement. I love this group. They are human, but they must be hidden angels because the dogs they are helping are the ones most definitely the most in need. They are very often at the PetsMart on 20th and Highland on the weekends trying to find homes for their dogs. If you see them and want a specific type of dog, I would imagine they would scour the shelters for you
