The box was actually to protect the vase for the trip home. The owner contacted me and explained that she upgraded the flowers that's why it didn't look like the advertised photos, unfortunately I wouldn't know if this was true or not I just wanted it to look like the picture shown. I still believe this was overpriced especially when it was a pickup order. I hope they continue to thrive as a small business but I also hope they match the actual product to what is advertised or maybe contact the buyer if they want to make "upgrades" in the future. read more

Desert Rose Florist provided excellent service on 6/16/2022. I called at around 1:35PM. My call was answered almost immediately. Beforehand, my daughters and I picked out a bouquet called "Sweet Blossom" ($140.89) on their website that we knew would cheer up their nana who had recently broke her hip & wrist. I don't know who took our order, but she was very pleasant and did an accurate job of spelling my somewhat weird Scottish last name. Not only that, but she correctly gathered all of our information and a special note for the enclosure card too. My mother-in-law surprisingly texted me then called from her rehabilitation center to let us know she received her beautifully-arranged & fresh flowers THE SAME DAY! Yes, the same day! Kept fresh water to the recommended level, indoors in normal temperature room and no direct sunlight. Still died almost immediately. I went to Desert Rose Florist since it is located nearby. I asked for a specific request of flowers for the arrangement that I wanted to be delivered home. I asked for the paradise bird, calla lily, closed white roses. I did ask for a tall vase and the vase wrapped with the green leaf. I asked for the flowers to be delivered before 5:00 pm. I uploaded pictures of the arrangement. The arrangement looks great, but I specifically requested the closed white roses. I notified the store. They did offer to bring the new roses. I told them it was fine, but I wanted to bring that to their attention. The flower shop did well, but I will be giving this place 4 stars due to the minor discrepancy. read more
