Jasmine rice is such a simple but wonderful food. Spring a little salt, eat it plain, maybe just a vit of butter and you have a meal. But.....there's this NEW PLACE IN SPRINGDALE called DESI FUSION, and they take that rice and add Vutter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala and that rice becomes a little bit of heaven on a plate. Wow, we were very impressed with the taste. And the service was outstanding. Yes, it was the first night tonight and they had a few kinks to work out but very friendly and made sure our food was good and kept our glass full. I guess the only question is, when will we go back? I can't believe Iforgot to take pictures, but here we are. We ordered the Butter Chicken pizza, Falafel Dounuts, and Hummus with garlic naan, and th Gulab Jaman. Everything was DELICIOUS!! They even gave us a sample size of a new recipe they're trying out. It's basically naan & hummus with lamb in top. It was DELIGHTFUL. Highly recommend. The pizza was exactly what you'd expect, butter chicken on a tasty pizza crust roasted in their oven. The falafel donuts were falafels in a donut shape served with a tahini sauce, very good. The gulab jaman was perfect and had a surprising lemony note that was much appreciated. But, and drumroll please... the star of the show was the garlic naan and hummus. I mean, MAN, it was good. We were really excited to try this restaurant from its reviews. We were so disappointed. First, they were not busy at all and the space was decent It seemed clean. However, when they brought us plates, the guy picked something off of the top plate after setting them on the table and there was a fingerprint on one side. There was a chunk of something white on my fork as well. They were pleasant to begin with. Never rude but not helpful. We tried to order two items on the menu and were told that they didn't have it. They then said there were additional items unavailable. I ordered the chicken shawarma and my husband the butter chicken. The chicken in the shawarma was so salty that I couldn't eat it and his rice was extremely dry and stale tasting. He then went to the bar to order a plain naan and cheese naan to try to help with the issues. The server came back over to the table and said, "garlic naan and cheese naan?", and we corrected her. She said, "okay plain and cheese". The plain naan came out with garlic butter. We asked the server about it and she asserted it was plain, saying, "plain naan still comes with butter." We said it tasted like garlic. She said no that's plain. She never came to check on us at any point during our meal and it seemed like we were bothering her. I finally had to ask for water for my near empty glass and she finished clearing a table and brought it five minutes later. Then we asked for boxes and the check. It felt wrong to leave so much food. She brought the boxes and stood there while we began putting our leftovers in. I had a plate in one hand and the box in the other, and she said, "I'm ready for your card". She didn't offer to take the plate or help with anything. I gave her the card and paid, and she left going to another table to take their order. Afterwards when we got our receipt, she had in fact placed an order for garlic naan, not the plain naan, and then tried to convince us it was plain. Thankfully we're from out of town and have several wonderful Indian and Mediterranean restaurants in our area. Will never return. read more

It's in the parking lot of Cloud 9. My Purchase: ---------------------- 1. Samosa Chat 2. Bombay Pav Bhaji 3. Baingan Bhartha 4. Butter Chicken 5. French Fries with Peri Peri Food: --------- It smelt good. Reminded me of back home. Menu has a good variety. All the food is homemade. It is fresh with fresh ingredients. All the food which I bought tasted fresh. It had good flavor. The cook can customize the spice level without comprising flavor. Flavor: ---------- Authentic Indian. I had set my expectation high. They did not disappoint. The samosa chat, Bombay pav bhaji tasted excellent. The baingan bhartha and butter chicken were on the milder side, which is how I wanted. Tge French fries with peri peri was out of this world. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The owners Harry, Lucky and Nishu were pleasant to chat and I had a lovely conversation. It's a great atmosphere. They have a small area to sit down and enjoy the cuisine. Each one of the food which I ordered were Authentic and a pure delight. All in all a beautiful experience.
