Was slightly sceptical because of the location and the outside appearance but I must say....It brought back childhood memories. Let's be honest, the place looks disgusting, it's in a sketchy part of town, only takes cash and might very well be a front for some type of criminal organization. But, The food was absolutely amazing, I loved the old drive in style and the workers moved very quickly and was very polite. I used to love Dairy Freeze. Sadly, they have become too expensive. For a dipped cone made side of fried mushrooms, it came to $10.62. $10.62. That's a full meal anywhere else. Not only was a dipped cone about the same price as a sundae, there was only 6 mushrooms. That's $1 per cherry-sized mushroom. Everything tasted fine, just definitely not worth the price. This is what the vote to increase the minimum wage of high schoolers in Arkansas has reduced family businesses in to. Over-priced and soon to be out of business. read more

I usually pass by Bonnie's Dairy Freeze when I come to Fort Smith but never stop. Looks like a standard drive up burger joint. Today my hunger forced me to stop at least to look at the menu. I pressed that order button and was greeted by a friendly voice. I received my order by a very nice carhop who didn't make me feel bad for asking for more ketchup. Take note Sonic! I ordered the burger basket and oh my goddess what an amazing burger. Definitely an old style burger and smaller crinkle cut fries. Bonnie's, you did not disappoint this picky eater. Best place to get dipped cones. Chocolate, Butterscotch, or Cherry coated on chocolate, vanilla, or swirled soft serve ice cream. They usually double dip them too! Good burgers and their deluxe burrito is the bomb. read more

Little hidden gem. We were driving through and wanted to stop at somewhere original. Food was really good and piping hot. Service was very nice. You order what you want and they put it in the best way to make it the cheapest. Example we wanted their biggest burger, large fries and a drink, so the lady put it in as a meal and charged us extra to get the bigger burger. The best part though was the speed. Even with them being almost packed and with only one waiter, we still got our food in less than 5 minutes. Would return if I'm ever in the area again. read more
