The doctor gave us The runaround she was super rude and dismissive and wanted him to do unnecessary testing (a whole money making scheme) and all my husband required was a medical to get his drivers license renewed in Florida . Found this place and got an appointment within two weeks the girl that answered the phone and got us The appointment was super helpful and informative . The staff here is amazing ! I am a new patient so I had my files sent to the office from my previous physician and filled out all of my new registration paperwork on line prior to my visit. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and was asked to fill out the same new paperwork on a table in the office. I waited 2.5 hours for my appointment in the waiting room before being called into the back to meet the doctor and then went through an additional verbal intake of the registration I just did. My meeting with the doctor was quick and felt adequate but overall my time in the office was unacceptable for the amount of time I had to wait and ultimately spoke with the doctor. Additionally, the staff was abrupt and rude and I had a question the following day and the gentleman who answered the phone said he'd pass along a note. I had to call back multiple times to speak with someone who was ultimately extremely rude, unhelpful and insulting (Marina?). This review is for Dr. Kuluz and the pediatric neurology practice at DNC. Our daughter's concussion was mismanaged from the start by physicians practicing in our regional Midwest community. Even after we sought second and third opinions by local specialists, they were dismissive and lacked the experience to understand current best practices and care. After our daughter spent over a year suffering from constant daily headaches, we sought out additional opinions while traveling over spring break. Dr. Kuluz listened, had endless patience, and made recommendations for care that were different than others. Right now, our daughter is headache free for the first time in over a year, and we have hope. We are not out of the woods yet, as we need to see whether the impact is long lasting, but I am so grateful to have found Dr. Kuluz. Appt at 3pm with dr Larissa elberg and they didn't have the decency to mention she wasn't in the office until after they asked for my co-pay. They suggested I leave and they'd call me when the doc came in to the office to which I said I'd wait because I requested time off from work to make it to my APPOINTMENT by a certain time. Best doctor I've seen, hands down.. I owe him my life!! You may have to wait a very long time to see him, but he's worth the wait.

Dr. Nedd has saved two members of my family from mis-diagnosis by other physicians. My husband was diagnosed with dementia and told to learn how to live with it. We sought a second opinion with Dr. Nedd who diagnosed his real problem ....normal pressure hydrocephalus. A 42 year old had a major stroke in the brainstem. She was airlifted to a stroke unit where they said they could only keep her comfortable. I asked the head of the unit to speak with Dr. Nedd he outlined a protocol he had used. It worked. I just sent another friend with a diagnosis of dementia. Turns out a TBI has caused aphasia. Yes,sometimes there is a long wait but getting to the Dr. that knows what he's doing is worth it. The first experience we had with Dr. Kester Nedd was outstanding. He is not covered by my insurance, so I had to pay $500, but I felt like it was well spent because he was extremely thorough. My daughter was very comfortable with him and he definitely knew his stuff! We left very happy we drove an hour to see him. When we got to the pharmacy they could not find our prescriptions. They had mispelled her name. A couple hours later they re-did it. Not his fault, but definitely annoying. Today when we went back for our follow up, a 2:30 appointment, we arrived at 2. Around 3:45 I asked the lady how much longer it would be as my kids were restless. She said 2-3 more hours. We left. When we were about five minutes away, she called me and said we were next. We raced back and sat in an exam room with two student doctors. One was obviously training the others. They were both very nice. I asked her to verify that we were next as we were told it would be 2-3 hours twenty minutes ago. She told me it would be 10-15 minutes... Well after small talk with the student doctor for 45 minutes, we were told by the one student doctors that she forgot that he had a meeting and it would be a few more hours!!! How inconsiderate! I wish I was told how behind they were walking in. I can't believe I wasted a whole day! If you can't get the first appointment of the day, don't bother! read more

Dr. K. Nedd has been my neurologist since dealing with a concussion two years ago. I can truly say he has helped me with my post-concussion process and has made sure I feel comfortable even when I would go in panicking about something new I was feeling. I definitely dislike the wait and how difficult it is to get an appointment with this specific doctor but I will still give it four stars as any wait is worth my health. I appreciate Dr. Nedd and his interns who are absolutely amazing. Though they change interns often none have disappointed. They pay close attention to detail and provide advice and care that Dr. Nedd sometimes does not have time for. Their new location I will say is a bit sketchy as it isn't as clean-looking as their previous location but I do not mind it as I love pretty close to it either way. I hope to continue receiving good service from both my neurologist and his interns. One thing I would say is, their staff can be nicer and provide better customer service both via phone and in-person. They treat you like a number and as if they don't have time for you. In the two years coming here, I've had but one staff member go beyond what's expected of their scope of work which was simply to call me back and give me a spot for the same day I called. Very disappointed. During my 2 hour wait, everyone and I mean EVERYONE was complaining that they have been there 2-3 hours waiting. The front desk people could careless and seem bothered that people were complaining. Meanwhile, I was told there was 2 new patients ahead. So, when finally a lady came to get me, she says, ok I'm going to explain to you how we work: I'm going to ask you lots of information about your medical history and then the medical students will go over all your vitals, and then the Dr will see you. (Like Hello?! Is this for real?) So, I paused and said: I have been here for 2 hours and from what you are saying SO...... how much longer until I actually see him??? She said, I know the wait here is very long but that's just how we run the appointments, you still have 2 new patients ahead and he is very thorough and does take long. She said if you want to reachedule and I said honestly the way the appointments are coordinated it is not considerate to patients time and I will not reschedule. Its honestly ridiculous. I asked for a refund and I left. Please do not waste your time. There was a patient waiting since 11 am and I left at 5 and still had not been seen. They also moved by 89th place and 25th street. No signs anywhere so looks like you are going to a warehouse. read more
