Perhaps an advantage of having such a small shop is the opportunity to be more selective in your inventory by focusing on things that are usable or wearable over time rather than for a moment or two after your holiday has long ended. Unfortunately, the prices were pretty steep for what equates to colored glass; and that did give me pause, but probably won't stop me from coming by again when I have more time and early in the day before the crowds have me waiting in line to get inside.

She listened to my husband, picked out two choices - both were perfect - he bought exactly what he needed. While he was shopping, another saleswoman took time with me - I tried on probably 10 pairs of shoes - "just for fun." It was great - she brought out styles I would never usually try and really enjoyed getting some new ideas. There was no extra pressure, no sales gimmicks - just quality products. No one cared that I was "just looking." The owner came and introduced himself - made us feel welcome. We left feeling like we had found a place we know we will make a trip from Boston to go back too!

When we arrived to pay the total was $25 no biggie but when I mentioned it to the bald man who checked us out he very dismissively told me it's only certain strains to which I said that the way it's posted online is misleading. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I get it, it's only $5 but call me crazy the idea of customer service to me means that when the customer has a reasonable concern you as the employee should be patient and understanding enough to listen. If customer service isn't your thing don't work somewhere that is expected.
