During the initial consultation/ interview, we realized very quickly that we felt at home with Becky because she really heard our desires, picked up on our style, and could immediately start to formulate ideas and come up with pictures for us to create more concrete ideas. She took our vague ideas and transformed them into a warm, inviting home. During the process, she was very easy to work with, never pushy or domineering. She recommended great contractors who were conscientious and did excellent work in a timely fashion. Something important to us is being able to have contractors that are good at communication and will call back when a message is left. Becky and the others we worked with were great at that. Becky is really good at responding with texts too. Not all contractors will do that! Becky is also reasonably priced and knows how to look for things at a great price. She is not one to overextend our budget, but works with in it. A side note, my in laws also hired her to help with some draperies. Their style is very different from mine, but Becky easily transitioned to their style and found what they were looking for very quickly. That was impressive to all of us! We hired Desert Valley Concepts to remodel our kitchen, master bath (partial), and replace cabinets…read morein laundry room and hall. We began our process after contacting Jake Gonzales, owner of DVC. He came and saw our house and what our project would entail. Next we went to the showroom and began the process of picking out materials and discussing our budget. He and his associate Brittany then compiled a list of the materials and the approximate final cost which we then made a second visit to the showroom to finalize everything before Jake and Brittany would do the ordering. Once the materials arrived we began the actual remodel. At this point we were turned over to Dom, Jake's son, who would be the project manager for the entire project. The remodel took roughly 3 weeks and Dom along side his associate Tristan were there almost everyday to supervise the work. The two of them were polite, considerate, knowledgeable and well-mannered. The subs that were hired (ie. plumbing, countertops and installation of cabinets) were exceptional. The day the countertop crew arrived I believe they were in and finished in just a few hours with everything exactly as it should be. All subs were also extremely respectful to my husband and myself, with each group completing their tasks in a timely manner. Dom and Tristan ALWAYS let us know in advance when they or subs would be arriving to work and all were always on time. We could not asked for a more pleasant experience and would absolutely hire them again for future projects.
