Very dissatisfied in an arrangement that was done there. I had a conservative dollar amount that I was working with and when I came in to pick it up the flowers I was so disappointed. The flowers that were used were pretty but the actual design was sparse and that in itself was very noticeable. Some of the filler used in it appeared like it was cut down and the stalk was very apparent. That made it look odd and bushy. It did not look symmetrical at all. When I tried to talk to the girl that either owns the place or did the arrangement, she got very defensive. Not a good way to conduct business or work with people. I would not recommend this shop - especially if you are working within a certain budget. I would have preferred it not being done if she couldn't design something that looked professional for the dollar amount that was paid. This did not. read more

There are not enough words to talk about the amazing work this florist does! Jackie is 1000% amazing with what she does and being able to bring a brides visions to life without an issue!! My daughter's wedding was at the Royal Park on 10/25/19, and everything was simply stunning- the centerpieces were awesome! Absolutely perfect!! The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres' the flowers for the pillars, and for the cake!!! OMG! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! I called them in the morning about the cake and how there was so much foil around the cake, but they covered it up perfectly with the extra greenery! Jacki, and her team absolutely rocked it!! I love this florist! They create such beauty! We rec'd so many compliments on the centerpieces and the bouquets!!! People commented on how the centerpieces were over the top beautiful -- simple yet stunning and made a statement!!! My daughter's bouquet was beautiful!! Design Works used to be my first choice for any occasion. But I'm not so sure now. Flowers were delivered literally falling out of the vase, haphazardly stuck in, with some stems not even in the water. Quality of the flowers is questionable too. Terrible experience. Had used them several times in past. No more. Spent over $200 on flowers for a funeral of a beloved family member. The flowers delivered were A.W.F.U.L. I am so embarrassed. Speechless. Called the florist the next morning to discuss what happened. I ordered a 'premium' bouquet. The bouquet they sent was so limp and sparse. She said over and over that the receipt she had claims that the bouquet had the value of the flowers. She would not refund. Rather Offered a free $25 bouquet. And then Said we got a great deal on the delivery fee (?‽!). I should have gone to Kroger's and bought carnations and a foam ball from Michaels and made a bouquet myself as it would have looked more lovely. Or as my husband said 'should have thrown some flowers in a bucket instead'. We will NEVER use this florist again as they lost our trust and faith. Still in shock. read more

My husband had flowers delivered to me from Design Works and they were by far the most beautiful flowers I have ever received. I wasn't home when they first tried delivering so the driver called me and when I called back, they were very pleasant. The driver came back when I got home and I was completely blown away.
