I recently purchase several dresses from the Donna Vinci and the Nubian line and boy am I pleased with my purchases! I still have not worn them yet but on several occasions I just went to tried them on again just to see their beauty! The pieces are so beautiful thst I am waiting for a special occasion to wear them, but several of them are coming so by special grace of our Lord king I shall do so' The aero was great especially since we had a bit of mishap in the early onset of my purchases but Shawn and his representatives work super hard to solve the issues ! They even did a delivery address change for me because I got nervous the I may loose the items at my previous address so I had the sent to my job instead ! They did it that with ease ! I wish there was an option to give this place 0 stars. The worse customer service ever. It's been 3 weeks since I placed my order and status for 3 weeis states preparing for shipping. When I called them the reps are EXTREMELY RUDE- one of the reps told me to end my question by saying PLEASE. By far they are racist, unprofessional and rude! I first learned of Designer church dresses when a friend passed away and we were requested to wear Red and Gold. As I DID NOT have gold, I searched Google for a gold hat. I found a beautiful hat on the Designer Chur that Dresses site. I provided them with the date requirements of the funeral. They did not meet that date, but since my 101-year-old dad who had been in rehab due to a broken hip, came home the day of the funeral and I was unable to attend, their delay was not impactful. I ordered another hat on January 1, 2026. I waited and waited and waited and didn't receive the hat. I decided to order another hat on January 5, 2026. This particular hat came in, but the one ordered on January 1 still hadn't arrived. (It was unavailable so they gave me another hat of my choice around 1/26) On January 18th I ordered a hat for my nephew's funeral who was suddenly killed in a car accident. Again, a specific color was specified for the funeral. In the order, I specifically said I needed the hat no later than January 28th for the funeral. The order said the hat will be shipped shortly. After five days went by, no word back from them and no shipping confirmation, I contacted the company that makes their hats (Whitall and Shon) and confirmed they could ship the hat same day. I then sent a text to Designer church suits to CANCEL the hat I ordered since it had not shipped. I called them on 1/23/2026 at 11:22 am and they confirmed that they canceled my order. I checked my account 3 days later and there was no refund, then I got a notification that despite our conversation to CANCEL the order, they ship anyway. I called them today (1/28/2026) to find out why they shipped when I canceled the order. The manager on the phone treated me with total DISRESPECT, yelling and screaming, saying, "Give me my hat", a hat that won't be here until tomorrow (1/29/2026), the day after need date. He said send it back and they will charge a 25% restocking fee. This is after I have spent close to $1,000 with them. This is how the treat their customers "us". I DO NOT want the hat as I have the one from the other company, nor do I need two hats. Had he canceled as they said they did, there would be issues. I care for my 101-year-old and CANNOT leave the house AT ALL unless I have a paid caregiver to watch dad while return the hat that I haven't even received yet. I am not a criminal as he hollered at me as if I were. I will NEVER PURCHASE from them and they haven't heard the last from me. They get their hats from Whitall and Shon. That is where I will be purchasing from now on. I don't care if it's $20 more. This is the worst clothing company I've ever ordered merchandise from. The quality of the clothing is nothing like the image on the website. This is false advertising and scamming customers out of 25% of their hard earned money once you discover the poor quality of their product. This company in particular needs to be investigated because they refuse to issue customers a full refund after discovering the false advertising. I purchased 2 dresses for Easter on 03/20/2024. I opened one in yesterday to only find out that the skirt had been switched and worn. I tried to call them the guy that answered the phone is rude. He told me a manger would be in at 12. I called back at 4 he tells me that no manager is in and then he all of a sudden hears one in the background before hanging the phone up. I was informed I would get my refund within 3-5 days. However; what I did receive was an email stating my order had shipped???? After calling several times, I finally got someone who transferred me to the most rudest person I have ever spoken to. This man was yelling at me as if I was a child, when I asked him why he was yelling at me he said he was protecting his family owned business. I told him it was no reason for him to be rude because I am not being rude to him. At the same time of him being rude, he was trying to convince me to keep the dress because it had already shipped. He specifically said, just refuse the delivery and the dress will come back and we will refund you. So, I did exactly that. After a few days I called back because I was confirming they received the dress back and I wanted my refund.... another rude person I spoke to started telling me I didn't cancel on time, only when the dress had shipped, and I would be charged a "restocking fee". When I told him I would go to my bank and dispute the charge he said, "that's OK and we will take you to court for the restocking fee", what????? but at the same time trying to get me to agree for them to reship the dress to me and I keep it????? I have never been disrespected like this by a business before. I have tried 4 times now. Every time, the outfit is clearly irregular. 1) Lining exposed on the sleeve of a dress 2) Button line was obviously glued on to a skirt. When I started walking in the suit, it just pulled apart. 3) Beautiful sweater dress, green, but the bow was sewed on the dress crooked. This last time, I had to return a $209 dress. My husband ordered a size 8 in this beautiful dress for my birthday. I was so excited to receive this dress only to discover that the tag said 8 but the label inside the dress @ the color said 10. I contact the store to inform them that I was sending it back due to their error and was told that they did have an 8. I did a tracking receipt and found out the dress was delivered on Mon. 10/2/23 but when I called I was told it may be in their warehouse to call back. Well, I called back in a couple of days and was informed the dress would be would be mailed out on Fri. 10/13 or Mon. 10/9. I decided to text him to share my disappointment in how they're conducting business because 1) I should've received the correct size from the beginning 2) had I known they didn't have the correct size, I would've kept the dress and had alterations 3) I called several times and was informed the dress would be resent and today a text saying otherwise 4) as a courtesy to their mess up I should've been called 5) I also informed him that maybe they want to consider another business if they're treating their customers as only a commodity without compassion or service to those who are supporting their business. My wife ordered a suit for me as a Father's Day gift. When the suit arrived, we realized that it was too big. She called the company to determine her options. She was told that we could exchange it. So she sent the suit back (paid shipping cost and everything). Three weeks later, she doesn't hear anything back. So she calls to follow up. After being put on hold for an extremely long time, she's told that in order to get a new suite, she'd have to pay shipping cost. The first suit was shipped for free. They're not going to ship the second suit for free. So my wife asked if she could get a store credit. The answer was yes. She also asked if she ordered something new, would that be considered a new purchase, and would that qualify for free shipping? She was told yes. However, there was a guy in the back ground telling the customer service person that he's not paying to ship a suit to Hawaii again. He'd be losing money. I don't think that he knew that my wife could hear him or maybe he did, and he just didn't care. The guy who was talking in the background now gets on the phone and starts talking to my wife. I didn't like how the conversation was going, so I get on the phone and ask him about his policy. As I'm talking to this guy, he's snapping at me and cutting me off. This was absolutely the worst customer service that I had ever experienced. I asked him if we ordered something new, would that qualify as a new purchase? He responded, "no...why would I do that!" He was the most unprofessional human being that I've come across in years. I have now ordered from this company twice and had two bad experiences. The 1st time was when my mother n law died. Designer Church Suits (DCS) mailed the item to Florida. The issue was on the UPS end. I called DCS, and they informed me they would expedite another suit, but it would not arrive in enough time for the funeral. After several weeks, UPS was able to locate the item and resend it back to DCS. Their notes said I elected to have them hold the merchandise for pick up, which is not true. In speaking with DCS, I was told they could not refund me without charging me the restocking fee because they do not get involved with issues with the shipping vendors.. very bad customer experience, especially because it was during a difficult time in my life. Fast forward last week, I ordered from them again, and they sent the merchandise in the wrong size. Now I have to incur shipping costs to send it back. I asked about express shipping for the suits I ordered. He said we don't offer it on men's suits I said why does it say you do he said read the fine print I did and it says nothing about no express shipping on men's suits. I just hung up the phone. I returned and they received the suits on 11/2/23 and they did not issue a refund. I had to open a dispute with PayPal they responded to my complaint with the reimbursement for the suits but not the shipping cost. I just accepted the offer for the suits, and I will have to eat the shipping cost. I will never do business with this company ever again and consumers should stay clear of this company. read more

Do Not Order from this company. The manager was very rude. I ordered a hat from this company. After over two weeks, I realized that the hat had not been shipped. I called Designer Church Suits about the shipment, and they told me the hat was being handmade and would be a few weeks before it was shipped. No mind you, the website does not state the hats are handmade but I waited on the item nonetheless. However, the shipment did arrive, and when I removed the hat from the box, it was not the same hat as I ordered. So I proceeded to returned the hat back to them. Their policy stated that if the fault of a return was on their part, then they would return the shipping fee, however, they would not return the fee and when I called, the manager was rude and would not allow me to talk. He told me since I opened a dispute on paypal about the wrong item, that It was with their legal department and I would not receive the return shipping which costs me $45.00 to return a $129 hat that I did not order.... read more
