I have shopped at Glad Rags both times I was in Lenox while visiting the National Shrine of Divine Mercy. In late November, my husband and I accidentally left my winter coats (including one I just bought at Glad Rags) behind when we checked out of our rental unit. I called Glad Rags to ask for help and boy, did I get help!!!! Mercedes drove to our rental unit in a snowstorm to pick up my coats then boxed them up and shipped them to me, saving me a substantial amount of money since their rate was much less than I would have paid for a service to do the same. I was so grateful to receive my new coat in time for a wedding on December 6th! Also when I bought the coat, the owner and employee made sure that the minor alteration they suggested to move the snaps would indeed work and not cause any mark on the coat! If you are interested in "top notch" customer service, be sure to visit Glad Rags when you are in or near Lenox, MA! You will not be disappointed!

And to make matters worse, after being interested in purchasing a rug, and going outside to take a look at the swatch in daylight, when I came back inside, the salesperson was re-ticketing it to twice the price,!! She said it was ticketed incorrectly! I said "you can't change the price on something I am about to buy!" This was the worst, most unpleasant experience!

Many of the items in the bedding department are still quite expensive. I saw quilts and blankets in the $200-400 range. There are some bargains among the rugs, but they don't deliver from the outlet. A lot of the bedding is in colors that most people aren't looking for in their bedrooms. That being said, I did find some nice pillow shams at a greatly reduced price, but it required some time and searching. It's also somewhat out of they way if you're visiting Lenox or Stockbridge.

I've found the most elegant outfits for weddings. They DO have designer clothes. They tend to be pricer, but they have sales periodically and you can step in some diamond dust. This is a non profit. Wonderful kind people with excellent taste donate items here with love. Usually the local loyal patrons drop off nice items they no longer need. The boutique truly is a special place. I have consciously chosen to donate mint condition beautiful items instead of selling them, because I love this store and what it offers to humans and animals. You actually support cats and dogs buy shopping here. Their sister store in Lenox is great too. I have a special place in my heart for Catwalk in Great Barrington. I love the women who work there. They're some of the kindest warmest authentic women I've ever met. I always feel better walking out of Catwalk! I used to buy the majority of my wardrobe there, but then I moved. The boutique has such a great vibe and wonderful fantastic finds, that I used to stop by almost every week, even if I didn't have to find anything specific. Often times I'd buy something I didn't need at that moment, like something fancy, but then I'd have an occasion to wear it later. I swear Catwalk has an auspicious crystal occasion ball. The women there remind me of a crew of beautiful animal loving fairy godmothers who help unknown Cinderellas prepare for future "balls" and possible "Prince Charmings."
