He did offer to pay the $50 to get the power washing done, but made sure I knew he never said the power washing would be free. But he also never said upfront about it costing extra money. Aside from the power washing, please look at the photos to see that there are gaps in the fence work and two of the fence pickets he used are not up to standard - they don't even reach the base board! The picket closest to the side of the house is not even a full piece of wood! This is disappointing bc I am not an unkind person and do believe in giving grace, especially during this pandemic. However, it is NEVER okay as a business owner to ignore clients. He left me on "read" via text and only responded when I told him I no longer needed him to come fix HIS SLOPPY WORK. Within a week, he'd drafted a drawing, had samples of plants and an estimate. Once I was ready to proceed a few months later, it only took them 2 days to complete the job, which included removing all of the plants and trees, and adding new shrubs, flowers, pebbles and a large boulder.
