I had a great experience with Hector and his team from start to finish! I wanted to add a long privacy screen of wax myrtles along my fence. Hector went to various nurseries and provided me different options for plants with pictures, clearly communicating the price differences and pros/cons. We contracted ADI Landscaping to completely rebuild our front and back yard landscaping. The project included the addition of 5 pallets of moss rock to level and elevate our existing flower beds. In addition, Hector and his team built two new additional flower beds on the side of our house. His team planted a variety of plants including hydrangeas, gardenias, knock out roses, loropetalum and flax lilies in the flower beds. ADI also planted multiple trees including vitex, crape myrtle and two large red oak trees. Hector was able to find the exact type/color/size of crape myrtle we were looking for. The ADI team added a new sprinkler system addition/upgrade that included the addition of two additional zones and riser/misters for the flower beds and trees. They also built a new flat stone/rock walkway between the driveway and front door and installed 5 pallet of palmetto grass sod. Best landscaping service I have ever used by lightyears! Hector (owner) performed significant drainage remediation prior to massive resodding that cured serious ongoing issues. He even had his crew remove the new sod in several places to "tweak" the drainage patterns. Palmetto sod was of highest quality with virtually no weeds and NO bermuda grass! Base of river bank sand was carefully laid down to provide for a smooth lawn surface. Hector was onsite constantly and even physically assisted his crew on numerous occasions. His follow-up, including inspecting the grass for several weeks and adjusting sprinkler coverage and programming to insure a perfect lawn were performed diligently and without charge. Very responsive. Made sure we got exactly what we wanted and that we were happy with the final product. We first contacted him to help fix sprinkler damage and ended up hiring him to add some extra landscaping beds, including steel edging. He got the sprinkler fixed immediately. While there was a bit of a wait for an opening in his schedule for the landscaping, when I told him I had an event I was hoping we could get it done for, he made it happen and the job was completed very quickly once they got going. Hector checked in several times after finishing to make sure no issues. And when a couple of plants started not doing well, he came straight out and replaced them. Very nice person to work with. Our backyard was neglected for many years and was in embarrassingly poor shape. So thankful to have found Hector thru Yelp and decided to contact him for a quote. A quick text message was sent and I got a prompt phone call. Setting up the meeting was easy - he accommodated my schedule. So professional and knowledgeable! He listened to my thoughts and ideas and improved on them. Unlike the prior company I met with, when I said I wanted a specific kind of tree and lots of rosemary bushes incorporated into the design guess what? He nailed it! My teddy bear magnolia looks amazing in my front yard. It's perfect! The rosemary bushes (he had to go to multiple sources to get them) look fantastic. We are so happy with the results. I needed new grass (sand and soil build up first) lots of plants, old rock piles reused and cleaned up, stone pathways and a lot of mulch. In addition the sprinkler system was recalibrated, tested, some lines added and reprogrammed. I also got a tutorial on keeping my new yard watered properly which was both needed and appreciated. There was a focus on drainage throughout this process and lots of follow up after installation. Our fence needed several repairs Hector has a guy for that. We also wanted a stone stair step stabilized that was wobbly -Hector checked that off our list too. He had my front landscaping nicely trimmed up as it was looking overgrown and messy. Stumps and dying smaller growth were removed. Backer board was added around my pool equipment and the rocks there cleaned and restacked. Old crushed granite dog run removed and granite was reused elsewhere Please give Hector a call and meet with him - he has a fantastic eye and excellent ideas. I have zero complaints and am posting pictures. We are now looking forward to seeing our yard flourish and be a retreat for us and our new neighbors - birds. I am a plant guy with very nice beds and garden. But, I could not get grass to grow due to too much shade and poor drainage. Hector trimmed trees and installed a simple drain. But, I still have a lot of shade so he recommended Palmetto grass which is more shade tolerant -- subsists on 4-5 hrs of sunshine per day. Palmetto is really a variety of St. Augustine so they blend well. Hector is a good guy to work with especially if you need his problem solving skills. We have been working with Hector at A.D.I. for 18 months as we had to update the landscaping on all sides of our house and needed to do it in phases. After the freeze in 2021, Randy Lemmon recommended a couple of landscape companies and A.D.I. was one of the names he offered. I contacted Hector and he came out to look at our yard and listened to our ideas as well as made recommendations. His bid was received timely and was very fair. Our yard was looking pretty basic, and I wanted to make it more inviting. I also had a pretty major project in adding a driveway and gate. I sought a few bids for ideas and cost, not really knowing what to expect. Hector provided a lot of great ideas and flexibility. He also had suggestions to help manage cost while achieving a great look. In the front yard, we had flower beds with stacked stone, rocks in some new areas, and a paver path for better access from the driveway. The work included modifying the sprinkler system, which was done without issue. In the back, we added a large paver patio and some fencing to block a view of the A/C unit. The quality was great and we're really enjoying it as an area for the kids to play. The driveway project required permitting with the city and took months for approval, but Hector's crew came back and knocked out a culvert, approach, gate, and paver driveway so that we can now take the kids into the house through the backyard. It's wonderful! We're very happy with Hector, who was professional, collaborative, and patient to see the whole project to completion. Throughout the project, I saw a few minor changes or had questions and Hector was insistent that we go through them to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
