Recently, Our 11 y/o Rescue Toby was having occasional stomach issues and when we brought him in he was acting fine and checked out fine but Dr. Christian Proietto had a 'gut' feeling after noticing some tenderness so he ordered some Xrays.....And what did he find ??? A foreign object in his stomach. Dr. Christian rushed him to surgery and removed a ball inflator valve. It quite possibly has been there from before we adopted him. If it wasnt for Dr. Proietto's experience ,skill and attention to detail Toby could have died. All of you at Winterville Animal Care have our deepest appreciation. Toby is home recuperating and I have no doubt will make a full recovery and his tummy problems will subside.

Y'all need to do a lot of work to get your business up to snuff. Good luck, it certainly didn't happen the few times I brought my Henry cat, which I won't ever again.

I left my only remaining dog, Dinky, with them on August 17, 2021, for the usual grooming needs. In the days following, I noticed that Dinky's very small tail had been cut off, presumably by Craig, who always bathes her. Barbara and Craig denied the obvious and even had the nerve to say that it must have happened at my home, which is absolutely ridiculous! These two have never taken responsibility for what they did, including refusing to help defray the vet costs. Tomorrow, Nov. 17, Dinky is scheduled for surgery to permanently close the wound. The cost is estimated to be $800. Barbara and Craig are heartless and vicious deniers. Take your pets to this establishment at your own risk!
