She took my number down and told me that Suzie will be in shortly and that she will call me. Well she never did call. 3) They charge $20 for eyebrows and $40 for Men's haircut which is somewhat at the price range of what other salongs charge except that if you are looking for a deal, you can find cheaper places in Glendale. I used to go to a place that charged $10 for cut and $10 for eyebrows. I figured to give them a try. I will probably not go back mainly b/c of their price. 4) On the bright side, the staff were all friendly.

Naturally my hair is temperamental, curly, fine and a natural mousy color. The first time I came to her i asked her to cut my hair fairly short and told her I was thinking either going dark, or blonde. She was amazing at talking through everything and although her gut leaned toward blonder, I went for dark and she nailed it. It was amazing and everyone loved it. As it started growing out though, since my hair is fine and lighter, it kind of looked like I was going grey (her advice to go blonder in the first place was on point ) SO the next big change I came to her to make me more blonde - she gives really smart tips that I otherwise wouldn't have thought of - then we decide on a route and go for it. Again, loved it. Now this last time I went in I was tossing around the idea of going lighter, and POSSIBLY short - but I wasn't sure about my face shape, etc. She was like a ninja, played around with my hair a bit then said, "what about this?", as she pulled my hair up shorter than I'd had in mind originally- but I liked what she was seeing so I said go for it! I'm not joking that I'm 30 years old and I've never in my life been so happy with my hair. It's crazy how many people have said, "it's SO YOU!"... Anyways! She gets to know your hair, gets to know you, and then she makes magic happen and you leave feeling like a new person in the best way possible. I noticed this place two doors down and that they accept walk-ins. I normally go to a barber, barber, but like I said I was in desperate need. I went over and was seated within 5 minutes, had a great chat (in Spanish) and was done within fifteen or twenty minutes. I was totally shocked at the quality of my haircut as I was watching it happen. I gave minimal instruction and I voiced my concerns/goal before we got started and she just went to work. I kind of let Jesus take the wheel on this one since it was kind of a stab in the dark. I didn't even refer to yelp before walking in there because I had already made up my mind that any cut I get would be better than staying the way I was lol In the end, I got a Great faded haircut, just the way it should be and the price ($12) was three times cheaper than I pay at my barber shop.
