How does this bridal shop not have hundreds of reviews?! I don't even know where to start with how…read morephenomenal this shop and the owner Erika is. I was expecting high prices since it is a boutique, but I was very wrong. The prices were the same if not lower than other stores that had lower quality dresses and service. Choosing a dress was not an easy task for me, and because of that I actually went through the process at Soiree twice (along with trying dresses at 2 other stores). Both times Erika was patient, kind, and SO knowledgeable. To start- the store is immaculate. It is beautiful inside and it kept so organized which makes the process easier. The selection of dresses, veils, jewelry and shrugs/covers are gorgeous and in style. You can easily tell that Erika works hard to only select the best things for her store. Now onto Erika- Just the most beautiful person inside and out. I have no words to describe how beautiful and heard she made me feel. She was an absolute pleasure to be around, which is important when you are having to get in and our of huge dresses and are overwhelmed with the process to start. She is such a bright light from the moment you walk in until the second you leave. After our first meeting, I loved her so much that I was really hoping my dress came from her store, but I still needed to try on more. In the end I was lucky enough to find the most perfect dress at Soiree. I would not have been able to find my dress without her. I'm so honored to have been able to support a local business who supports all individuals (the sign on her door clearly states that she is LGBTQ+ with a big rainbow heart) and just meet such a wonderful soul.

I paid over $600 and trusted her to fix the zipper and re-bead the back -- but on my wedding day, the second I put my dress on, it completely failed. My chest dropped, the fabric creased, and I couldn't enjoy my ceremony. And Please note - my ceremony was only 30 minutes long. When I calmly brought this up, she screamed at me, got in my face, mocked me, dropped beads on me , and dismissed everything. The beadwork she did was already breaking -- beads were literally falling off the same day. Another seamstress later told me the dress just needed to be pressed -- which julie was trying to charge $200- $300 to do. Even worse? I asked the owner for her business name she operates under or LLC and was told they didn't know -- even though they've worked with her for years. I asked, "So you don't know if she's a legit business?" and they said, "Yes." The level of negligence is incredibly concerning, especially when they're sending brides for her for such important high-stakes work.

I immediately started searching for someone who could help on short notice and came across Dianne. After reading her reviews, I sent her a text message, and she responded almost immediately. She even offered to chat over the phone, which I really appreciated. Dianne graciously squeezed me into her schedule. I met with her that Saturday, showed her the dress and explained the alterations I needed, and left it in her capable hands. When I picked it up, I was absolutely blown away. The quality of her work was incredible--honestly some of the most beautiful alteration work I've ever seen, especially given the short turnaround time. The dress fit perfectly, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. Beyond her talent, Dianne is genuinely kind, welcoming, and professional. She made the entire experience stress-free, which meant a lot to me since I've never been a huge fan of wearing dresses in the first place. Her studio is adorable, and her puppy might just be the cutest employee ever! Dianne truly works magic, and I am so grateful she was able to help me. She left multiple pins in the veil and a dress seam. Lastly, I was willing to pay for someone experienced, but the bustle she made me was a single hook and broke within minutes. After hemming the dress, the edges were uneven and I ended up having to suggest a solution to repair the dress. Overall I would NOT go back to her again, I found her disorganized, overcommitted, and someone who underdelivers.

Once I found one, used and off the rack I needed alterations to be ready for my Wedding in 4 weeks. This was absolutely no problem for Karen to get done in time.
