Which led to projects; I inherited a lot of antique jewelry which needed appraisals as well as diamonds replaced that had fallen out since the 1930's, to three necklaces with high quality fake pearls that needed to be restrung. Watches for my guys, to my engagement and wedding bands, I have trusted Day's. I purchased the cross I wear every day which lead to my family all getting the same cross. The necklaces have worn out over the years but the cross still looks amazing! I still get compliments. More repairs and cleaning which is what led me here today. Another antique 1970's piece I ADORE broke and knew they would be able to get it back together again. Plus my floating pearls clasp broke. Dropped off on Saturday, schedule board read repairs would be done by July 7, almost two weeks, no rush. Well I got the call on Monday afternoon everything was fixed! Conveniently locate by the Mall and my office, at the store in 4minutes. Walked in was greeted at the repair counter and registers. Handed the sales woman my tickets and they were in hand with in minutes. Looking perfect once again. Having 15 minutes to spare I went back in and took pictures for this review. How could I not??? Excuse was to clean all my jewelry I was wearing rings and cross. Wallet in hand and ready to pay 8 minutes later, am told "No charge"! The repairs and cleaning were free because of our long standing relationship.

We called here to see if we could have a brass bell engraved. They were confident in their answer…read morein being able to engrave it so we dropped the bell off with them. We called to check on the bell and first were told the girl who could work on it didn't come in until 10 one morning and they would call us with an update. I'm sure there was some confusion with myself calling and my husband being the person they called back however, after we called to check again on the bell, we were told that they engraved it, didn't like how it came out, buffed it, and would be re-engraving it. Once again, when we called to check on it, we were told that the girl that did engraving didn't work on Mondays. Then, next thing we know, they are telling us they can no longer engrave it. I understand that unpredictable situations occur and perhaps my perception of the experience is a bit different, but we were told they could do something and then after apparently doing work, could no longer perform the service requested. It just felt a bit off... everyone was friendly when we would call so nothing against the employees, just ended up being a situation that set us back on this project (a gift) a few weeks longer than we would have liked and just seemed like we were being given false information.

I heard from a week later and it was a no go, that's right "no to you" I went to another Jeweler and he made my ring, had it mapped so it's exact.
