I came during what seemed like peak hours (3p-4p) the staff was super helpful and I got exactly what I was searching for. Not everything was labeled with the price, they seem to get new inventory everyday so it's understandable. The staff is friendly enough to look up whatever is needed (price, plant-care info) but I didn't want to be a nuisance, so I'll probably comeback when it's less busy. I didn't read the bad review until I got home so full disclosure, I'm a person of color, a woman and a mom. I didn't feel any unwelcome undertones and I saw the staff interact with a plethora of diverse customers with respect and equality. I felt welcomed and not bullied into buying anything I didn't want.

He will tell you to get rid of certain plants/trees and pot them for himself and sell them at his nursery! He resells the things he digs up off YOUR property and tells you they should be thrown out. Topsoil is 22 dollars a yard where he picks it up from in Leonia, yet he charges upwards of 50 dollars and makes a killing off of you. He is also addicted to pain killers. Frequently while talking to me, he'll nod off. Additionally, while riding in the car on multiple occasions he has nodded off while driving and almost crashed the car. You can find his "stash" of pain killers in his pocket at all times, which he will pop all day long while drinking nyquil and driving. Do not hire this man to do your work. His workers are both illegal, so any work he does on your property is not going to be insured or legal. Good luck trying to get reimbursed if something gets damaged on your property. Have fun with Karadontes Nurseries! Hire someone else, who is more knowledgeable and who actually remembers to button their pants so their balls don't hang out while talking to you.

It is truly a disgrace because it is obvious you're not ordering enough, especially being in the middle of the snow season it's not like you're gonna be having to hold onto product because there's other snowstorms that are backing up to this snowstorm. A store of this magnitude should easily be able to get anything and everything. It needs to supply a major weather situation. There's a possibility of running out of ice snow melt but to run out of snow shovels it's just clear mismanagement it's unbelievable.
