He called, asked them to deliver before 12 (he called at 9) and they said no problem. He also asked them to call because we have two babies that nap and dogs that bark. They also said okay, he gave them all of our info and paid extra for the fast delivery. Flowers came after 12, RIDICULOUSLY thin bouquet... nothing like the picture (which he showed me after he came home from work, saw the bouquet and was instantly mad) $110 and we received 13 flowers in total... My dogs barked and woke up one of the girls because no one called. The vase was not correct and had no ribbon. First NEVER have your order OUTSOURCED. I ordered from Ruth's Roses. I ordered 2 weeks in advance. I put in special notes DELIVER between 7 and 9 am. They said OK. Came at 2:45. Flowers ok. The decorations around the flowers look wilted. Spent almost $100 on a flowers. I could have bought 5 dozen at the grocery store and take them myself. Plus I would see what I bought. I learn a valuable lesson. Never by from outsourced florist. Buy local and you can go to the store and look at the flowers . read more

My son sent me the Jingle Bell Flowers Bouquet, which was delivered yesterday for my family dinner today. This is what was delivered - no flowers - just greens and a few berries. I called Fromyouflowers.com, where my son ordered the flowers. They informed me the best that could do was send me the correct flower arrangement on December 26. My family dinner party is tonight. Ordered some flowers for a family members funeral through Avas Flowers who then apparently sub contracted the order through DesignsBy Guzzardos. At least that was the address on the card. The arrangement looked decent but the card with our message not only cut the message off in the middle of the word, they then failed to put down who the flowers were from. Day of the wake I felt so bad as all of the other flowers had these nice cards on the arraignments then this. Oh and one more thing. When I placed the order I was asked to submit a survey on my customer satisfaction even before they were delivered. Glad I waited. Buyer beware with this place. read more

I ordered the large "Wonderful Wishes" arrangement on 1-800-Flowers and the order was fulfilled by this florist. The arrangement was a birthday present for my mom and sent to her at work. The flowers looked nothing like what was ordered and I was genuinely embarrassed at the quality and lack of craftsmanship. I could have put together a better looking arrangement. When I called to let 1-800-Flowers know they said they would have a different florist redeliver the arrangement. Fiancé sent me a surprise bouquet from overseas using this company. The flowers were delivered on time and the arrangement was BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately by the 3rd day the flowers were wilting/dying although proper care was given to them. We called and the company was so understanding and responsive. They delivered a new bouquet (even more beautiful than the first!) the following day...a Sunday! 100% satisfied with the product and customer service. Called an hour later, actually talked to someone in customer service who said she could help me, then put me back on hold. After another 35 minutes I finally disconnected. Horrible service!!! Horrible service.. ordered flowers for Mother's Day and left instructions to call prior to dropping off as I was out of town and I knew my parents were home . I did not receive a call and if I did, did not receive a voicemail / follow up call. It was 11 am, knowing they close at noon, I was calling frantically as the flowers still hadn't came, no answer.. I called after noon just to see, once again no answer. Been trying to get a flower arrangement delivered for 5 days. The company lied repeatedly about attempting to deliver and also lied about calling to "reschedule delivery". We might as well stand on the street corner with flares and a rocket ship to prove we're home and ready to receive the order. Their phone number is just a robot-answered message and they haven't returned my call since they failed to deliver the arrangement. Please please please spare yourself the trouble. 8 calls, 3 emails later and no response. Who else have they scammed or cheated out of money? Anyone can say they have satisfied customers - where are they? I'm so disappointed. What started as a nice gesture has turned into a nightmare. We received an arrangement from relatives in Tennessee for our anniversary. They have no control from whom the flowers come from (she went through a service) The arrangement was lovely when it came on Wednesday late afternoon but by Friday when I got home from work the one sunflower in the arrangement was molding! I tried calling but the hours on their answering machine are different than on-line and when you tried to leave a message as it says to the line went to a fast busy! Very disappointed as I have continued to try and call every day to no avail. I hate to let my relatives know but I feel for what they paid they need to file a complaint. read more

I ordered flowers from them twice. Both times the flowers were very pretty. Delivery drivers delivered on the weekend and were very friendly. They even delivered late at night, once they new the flowers were for my friend after he list a loved one. That is amazing service and very thoughtful of them to work after hours. read more

I tried back two more times the following week and still nothing. I don't know who was trying to send me an arrangement but I guess I never will. read more

I ordered flowers the "For You Flowers" for my brother's funeral. They were supposed to be delivered On Thursday because the service was on Friday at noon. I received an email that the recipient wasn't available & they would try again. After speaking with the funeral home, I discovered that flower deliveries are 24 hours & a delivery had never been attempted. Half of the flowers were delivered at 12:04pm after the service had started. The remaining flowers never made it to the funeral service. What a disappointment. Got a message that they tried to deliver and could not. She is a dentist, works on the 3rd floor at a hospital. She also was only doing notes today. So, basically either they were too stupid to figure out how to get to the 3rd floor (which I notated) or they just lied. I see the other reviews here and it definitely looks like they are just flat out liars about it. The two clumps of small roses were dry and wilted and the couple of daisies and sunflowers were not worth even $5.00. I have no idea what my son paid, but it was way too much. My sister just received a vase arrangement from this Florist. It is probably the worst vase I have ever seen. Retail the flowers are worth 15.00$ the minimum posted for this " florist " and I use that word loosely , is $39.99. Please be aware when you use 1-800 flowers you will get screwed. I have been a member the Society of American Florist for 35 years and been a practicing floral designer for as many years and this vase is an embarrassment to all florists who provide a full value arrangement. I received a floral arrangement for Mother's Day from Designs by Guzzardos. My young adult sons went together and sent it to me from Minneapolis & Denver. Ordered through 1-800-FLOWERS. The arrangement was beautiful but 90% of the flowers were wilting by the 2nd day. After many attempts at contacting them by phone (and always getting a voicemail) I emailed them pictures of the arrangement, along with my phone number. Someone called me within the day, apologized, and made arrangements for a new arrangement to be delivered to me at a date and time that worked for me. The flowers are awful and the customer service is worse. My boyfriend ordered flowers from here for my birthday. They showed up two days late, despite repeatedly being assured they were "on the way." Each time they lied to us about the flowers being on the way, they went into rather specific detail, too, making it seem like they might actually show up. And then...no flowers. When they finally did arrive, they were a disaster. The flowers themselves had mold on them and a horrible smell, and the arrangement looked like something an 8 year old put together after picking flowers from a dying garden. read more

A floral arrangement from Designs By Guzzardos was delivered to our house yesterday morning but shortly after it arrived we realized they had delivered the wrong arrangement to us (we had a flower arrangement to a family whose pet had died while my wife was in home hospice for cancer). We phoned them multiple times and left voice mail messages and finally someone phoned to say they would come by the next morning to "swap" the two orders (Really? Swap the orders after they've been sitting in someone else's house for a day?). Well, no one ever came and two days later we still have the pet flowers here wrapped up in plastic and we don't know which of our friends were ripped off by this floral store. Extremely poor service doesn't even begin to describe this company. We contacted the other family whose flowers we have so that we could give them their flowers, so we're doing the delivery service for this company! Unbelievable! read more

I ordered a corsage through 1800flowers for my sons prom date and had it delivered to my house yesterday. I was extremely disappointed in the quality and felt it wasn't what I had ordered. Frankly, I would have been embarrassed to have my son give it to his date. This morning, my husband took over a few pictures and they agreed it wasn't the quality it should have been, nor was it what I ordered. They went out of their way to remake the corsage and it is fresh looking, what I ordered and beautiful! One star is way over rated for this "florist". The arrangement I received for Mother's day was the worst. I received it on May 13th and most of the flowers were either wilting or starting to turn brown, no water in the vase and by Sunday (Mother's Day) they were totally limp and more brown. Shame on this florist for sending this mess. I could get better flowers at Pick N Save. I am sure my family spent a great deal on these as my family is out of state--I would like to see my family have their money refunded. I don't know if they are the same but other reviews for Designs by Guzzardos match the terrible service we got from whoever this company is. Since we tried to complain to them the day we received their wilted, old, dried-out brown flowers (hard to believe but they were that bad) we called their phone number of 414-454-0828 twice. Once it just rang so we could not leave a message, and the second time it went to message . . . without any identifying company name. Since the little message card they left with the "flowers" does not have their name on it we still don't know for sure the name of this rip-off company. And, not surprisingly, we have most definitely not heard from them. read more
