And none of that was their responsibility, but it certainly made a huge difference! We had so many people tell us just how awesome they were! When it comes to photography, Alex and Mal are hands down the best of the best. During engagement photos, they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had the most creative ideas for what would make the best photos. The same goes for our wedding photos and video. All three of them were very punctual and organized on our wedding day. At times, I felt they were doing more to keep everything on schedule than our wedding planner. Just like the engagement photos, the wedding photos blew us away with how amazing they turned out. Alex and Mal will always be our go to photographers for any future family events or needs! Dave is very, very personable! He's a really nice guy and uses a family setting and his experience…read moreas a parent to say things to get his subject to laugh or smile. It breaks the ice so they will become more relaxed and take better pictures. His expertise comes through as you watch him move lighting inside, test lighting outside, pose the subject inside and outside to get the perfect shots. He's very fun to work with and even carried his huge lighting equipment 3 blocks away, and back, to get different backgrounds for the casual photos. We offered to help him carry it but he would hear of it. He IS a talker, but that's just part of the business. It would be pretty awkward for the photographer to not have conversation. LOL. He was 30min behind while we waited; but he spent 2 hours with us. The digital camera review of the shots looked great! Even the ones he threw me and my hubby into. I know his graphic artist will make all the touchups and cool backdrops from the green screen look outstanding. Can't wait to see the final images!!
