I requested an appointment for irrigation. To my surprise I was given the same day appointment. Dru arrived early in the window of time I was given. Dru determined the issue immediately! He had the parts needed to replace a irrigation valve. In less than two hours we had valve replaced. Dru was professional and communicated what needed to be done to repair the issue! Work was fine. But, I've never heard of a company charging $135 (without my knowledge before booking the appointment) to come look at my dishwasher for all of 5 minutes. No, that fee was not applied to the cost of my job. They just told me at the end of the "consultation" (plumber looked at it and said "Yeah... it needs to be replaced.) Then, charging for travel time? We are in Pahrump! It's not like you came from Vegas or LA. Absurd. I try very hard to use local folks when I can... but if I had the choice to hire someone from out of town or Desmoni plumbing... I'd take my money elsewhere every time. Truly unfortunate. read more

What a rip off!! $371.80 to replace an elbow joint out in the yard. Quoted my son by the hour and as soon as he arrived had to run to HD for the parts. Charged us for 2 1/2 hours but did 30 minutes worth of labor. He stated he charges from the time he made the call in the morning and charges for travel to and from Home Depot. Charged $20 for parts but refused to give me a bill even though I asked twice for it. read more

We needed a new water heater installed. This was not an situation. Just an upgrade from a 27 year old water heater. Called plumbers in our area. Desmoni gave us a 2 hour window for the appointment. They were late. The person who responded would not give a firm price for labor. We called the phone number again & that person gave us a price. There was a lot of confusion between what the person who answered the phone & the person who responded to our house. Anyway, he left to go get the heater at Home Depot & never returned. When we called, the person who answered said the worker's truck broke down, so we'd have to reschedule for the next day. We found out, a long time later, that not only had the worker drained the heater (which was okay), he left the fill spigot on. So water had been pouring out the drain valve into our front yard & down the street. We called the company, but there was no answer. Yes, it was after 5pm, but we had been told they would be available for any future emergencies if we hired them. Well, our first emergency & we can't reach anyone. We finally reached them the next day & the person who answered seemed really angry at us. She told my husband that the worker didn't like him & so they wouldn't be available for us to hire. She also admitted that the broken down truck story was not true. Sometimes people can't work together or agree on everything. We totally understand their right to refuse to work for us. However, I feel it's rude to drain someone's water heater (plus gallons of fresh water) & then leave without telling us to shut it off. We ended up calling another plumber, who came out the next morning, gave a firm price, arrived exactly on time, had obvious knowledge & put in a new heater, all new piping & connectors within a couple hours. I called them to give me a second opinion . I have a home warranty whom initially sent a plumber from Vegas. That first provider didn't have any appointments until a week out. Desmoni sent a plumber who said we had a leak in the subfloor that would require ripping out my floor and subfloor. I was also informed that 775 flood would be the ones to do the removal of my floor. Desmoni even told me that I'd have to file a claim with my home insurance company. I was informed by my handyman that it wasn't that bad and I should call Jim's plumbing for a 3rd option. So Jim's plumbing was able to repair the leak in my crawl space with out removing and flooring. So all this to say that I DO NOT recommend Desmoni plumbing. I just moved to Pahrump, right off the bat the water heater started leaking. Nothing worse than cold showers. Desmoni had a high Google rating, now I know why. I spoke with Marla, she was wonderful. It was on a home warranty claim, she jumped right on it. Called the warranty company got everything approved set up and appointment for Dru to come out and replace my water heater. The next morning Dru showed up early, which is great. Explained everything to me, had it replaced and on his way in less than 2 hours. Now we can have a nice hot shower. Service was great from start to finish. We had a pipe burst in the house, leaving a ton of water damage and my family without water. The receptionist was able to get me a next day appointment with Dru. She also took time to speak with me and offer pointers in the meantime; she was very knowledgeable about the trade. Dru (plumber) arrived on time, was very personal, but most importantly worked quickly and efficiently. He diagnosed the issue and resolved it same day. When an unexpected service was required, he rearranged his day so he could finish the job instead of just leaving things half done. My husband and I appreciate this so much, as we realize adjusting the daily schedule is a major headache. Dru and his team really know how to provide top notch customer service. I was a little timid to hire given the current 3 stars, but after giving them a chance, I have no idea why this business doesn't have 5 stars. If you have a home warranty and don't want to pay $600 out of pocket for your water heater replacement, I highly DON'T recommend this place. Lady who answers all calls here guaranteed me that everything will be covered under my warranty. It sounded well, she said she dealt with my insurance company many times. Turns out they like to charge an insane amount to insurance oh and a 4% fee for using your card of course. The lady who works here told me that my insurance should be covering more of the cost and she told me multiple times & multiple days that she would call my insurance and help fix some things. Had a working water heater. Set up with Desmoni to replace. They sent Jeremy to do the work. 27 minutes late (for a 2hour window). Jeremy arrived, drained the tank without shutting off the electricity. Said he needed to go to Home Depot to get parts. Never came back. Heater elements burned out. Now heater doesn't work. Called Desmoni owner. She said stop the draining, they'll be out tomorrow. Stopped the draining, tank started (we thought) to refill. Was actually draining into the street. (See video below.). She then wanted a credit card, because he doesn't have an account and he said okay and gave the number and then he said I would like an estimate first before a charge in case I need to get a second estimate. They did great. When the Rheem water heater I purchased from Home Depot was defective out of the box, they advised me how to get R heem to honor their warrenty. As the original guy I had install the new water heater didn't do anything wrong but ... When I called Rheem to compalin I bought a heater today and it already broke, theyweren't gonna do anything. So DON'T BUY A RHEEM product if you can get something else. They try to get out of their warrenty. The Desmoni plumbing guys however took my defective tank back for me, got a replacement and instaleld it within less than 2 hours... all is well now. My wife Lisa and I have rarely dealt with a plumber so professional, but also a great guy offering us real world options to ensure our project was completed, and within a reasonable budget. Initially, his budget for our HUGE shower leak and nozzle replacement of heads, piping, etc..was almost $800. Ouch! Yet, with his amazing speed, and understanding of next steps once he got behind the wall - he worked miracles. No kidding, this man assessed, cut through a bathroom floor to roof tall cabinet, ensured we had future access (which we didn't have before...ugh) while speedily ensuring our pipes were replaced and properly delivering H/C water to code - WITH PRESSURE!!!! For real, this was a showering experience game changer. ALL this effort in less than 1.5 hours. He even went to Home Depot for us to get the 2x4s to ensure it was constructed properly and TO CODE.
