BEWARE OF:DESOTO'S ON CALL HANDYMAN (Al & Sharon Collin's) FAMOUS LIE-- YOU ARE GONNA LOVE IT WHEN WE ARE DONE . Hired this company through Angie's. They started working in October. We wanted to inclose a patio to make a den. They only had to do framing to inclose 2 walls. My kitchen wall knocked out and gutted the entire kitchen. For 71,000. They were coming consistently until Sharon asked for the 3rd payment of 4 on November 14. They literally quit coming. Only showing up 2 or 3 times a month to redo things they had already jacked up. This job was supposed to be done by Thanksgiving, but I felt more like it would be before Christmas, and I would be in my new custom kitchen. I still haven't figured out who lies the most Al or Sharon. After that 3rd payment in November and 60,000 gone. The lies and excuses started for why they stopped coming as usual. IF THEY ARE NOT LIARS AND SCAMMERS WHY DID THEY FINALLY ABANDON OUR HOME APRIL 14th after 7 long months of us spending money eating out everyday.we still have no freaking kitchen at all in our home to this day. We have an incomplete den which is very small. Trim work inside and outside that's all wrong. A bulge in our kitchen wall where our cabinets are supposed to go. They cut through the wood at the bottom of the beam and put the wrong sizes of wood, which was causing the bulge in the wall. Sheetrock blown through out our home because DOCH DIDN'T TAPE THE PLASTIC TO THE FLOOR. Every square footage of our home ruined including attic with this Sheetrock dust on everything. Now it's April 1st. Sharon sends a GOING FORWARD LETTER REQUESTING US TO SEND HER half of the 12,400 that was due upon completion and they would be back in 3 weeks. WAS THAT 60,000 that DOCH HAS SPENT ON THEMSELVES NOT ENOUGH TO GET WHAT WAS ALREADY INCLUDED IN YOUR PRICE TO GET ANYTHING THAT LOOKED LIKE A KITCHEN. We send a certified demand letter April 13 to come and finish what we already paid 60,000 for. SHARON sends us a certified letter the next day with her fabricated lies every time she opens her mouth, saying we refused to give them more money to finish the job. They should have never gotten the 60,000 and now she wants the money that was due upon completion. Sharon said we are OVER BUDGET. WE HAVE NO KITCHEN AND WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. WE HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO REDO YOUR BOOTLEG WORK What you are seeing in my pictures is what Sharon told me cost 60,000 without the custom kitchen because WE ARE OVER BUDGET AFTER THEY SPENT OUR MONEY LAST YEAR ON THEMSELVES. NOW WE ARE 7 MONTHS INTO 2026 WITH NUTHING BUT BOOTLEG WORK AND REPAIRS FROM EVERYTHING THAT THEY TOUCHED HERE. The workers told me the reason they stopped coming to finish my house is because Al REFUSED TO PAY THEM FOR THE WORK THEY HAD DONE HERE. NOT EVEN PAYING THEM WHEN DOCH REQUESTED THE 3rd payment. Now they are telling lies on us that we wouldn't let them come back and finish. I HAD 60,000 REASONS FOR WHY I WANTED YOU TO FINISH THE JOB. But god works in mysterious ways. Everything you touch will crumble. God knows best because everything you did in our home was jacked up. Look at the new pictures of the new contractor having to redo your trim work inside and outside. My whole kitchen wall had to be torn down because of that bulging and craftsmanship, and plumbing work. All electrical outlets have to be removed again. RE, AL is Desoto's handyman and represents Desoto. My review is of Al and his theft and damages of OVER 15k, hence the reason you and him are now being sued. This is maim is 100% not personal and 100% buisness. Fact AL signed a contract AL was paid a large some of money AL NEVER completed job and disappeared. As a matter of fact since you want to take the unreasonable, aggressive approach and try to justify the unreasonable and unlawful actions of your husband/partner I will be contacting local law enforcement to see if I need to and or can file a Police Report. You maim are a terrible business owner, have a bad attitude and are trying to separate yourself from your HUSBAND/PARTNER who you even admitted screwed up and "GOT IN OVER HIS HEAD" and would "fix" the issue something he still has failed to do MONTHS later. Since you are aware of your Husband's / Partners actions that makes you compliant and liable. It is also not unreasonable to assume by your response that AL your HUSBAND/PARTNER of Desoto's on call has probably done this in the past, yet you continue to maintain a business relationship which makes you maim also LIABLE.
