The moment my kids walked into this place they were filled with amazement. Black lights line the ceiling, bringing decisively painted decorations, and clothing, to life! The laser tag itself is really cool. The course was large enough to afford many opportunities to scare the hell out of my children with some close quarters engagements, and camp at the end of a long corridor, too. We chuckled and screamed with fun and excitement. I highly recommend this to anyone! Alex, the owner, is very friendly and great with children. He made my 12 and 11 year old laugh quite a bit during the orientation. He also has a mini-golf setup on sight that is really well built and lit up with black lights as well. It is a lot of fun and inexpensive. We will definitely be going back here! One thing I wanted to mention is that this place is indeed on the second floor of a Sunsations, so it can be hard to spot. Just ok. Really random that it's in the upstairs of a shop, and it was quite hard to find. The space itself was cool but super run down. I don't know that we went anywhere dirtier the entire time we were here. I really enjoyed putt putt with my kids, but these need some updates and the floor desperately needs to be vacuumed. read more

It was alright but scary. The music they were playing was was like scary screams. Everytime you would shoot somebody it was make a loud scary screaming noise. I left early because it was scarying me and my friends. Waste of money. The people were also begging us to stay but we demanded to leave. read more

The owner Alex gave us the best customer service. Our daughter twisted her ankle before going to laser tag and he pushed her around the whole time on a chair with wheels which allowed her to play with all of us. We had such a fun time. We had a great time with our two teenagers. $14 per person, for both mini golf and laser tag was a great deal, compared to other family entertainment in the area! We had a good time here on a rainy, chilly day on vacation after lunch at Fudpucker's next door. My first comment is that this place is actually inside the Gift shop/beach store. The signage is hard to find and it feels totally like you're in the wrong place, but you go into the store and look for the steps in the middle of the store. They have a small quarters only arcade and the place seems a little run down, but the staff were very friendly and generous. Although it was not large, we had a great round of mini golf, the holes were just challenging enough, the space was engaging and well thought out. We originally paid for just the one mini golf but did the laser tag when we were done. They generously gave us the multi-game discount even though we hadn't picked 2 games up-front. Laser tag was fun and the equipment and the maze were good. This one went on almost a little too long. I know it's a weird complaint and for anyone else, you definitely want to get your money's worth, but my kids are kind of little and they started to lose interest before we were done. Terrible. They were supposed to open at noon according to the web site and when we got there the upstairs was blocked off with a sign saying closed til 3:00. The Eastern Block employees were rude and non-sympathetic to the fact they weren't opened as advertised. I have been to Destin Laser Tag twice. Once was for my company's 'First Friday' mandatory fun and the last time was for a kid's birthday party. First time, I actually played tag. That visit, the staff was friendly and a little too cheerful, but was fun. More fun than I expected, actually! I noticed that the place was pretty run down, but for an afternoon of shooting at my co-workers, I didn't think too much of it. Despite the hilarity of the tag, when I went to visit the bathroom.... HORRIFYING. Like Turkish prison nastiness! I am not a clean freak by any means, but after the bathroom visit? When I walked back to where my peeps were chillin', I noticed that the entire place is absolutely FILTHY. This last time, for the kids party, I didn't play tag. The place wasn't crowded for a Saturday mid-day. The designated birthday area was plenty large for our party, but (yeah, yeah, I know - it's supposed to be dark) it was absolutely pitch black. What didn't help was that one of the claw vending machine/video games, adjacent to the party, was totally bright but didn't illuminate the area; it just made it more difficult to see. At any rate, again, everyone had a good time, but the place is disgustingly dirty. My husband went to the bathroom and came back with the same look of terror I experienced the first time..... The only way that they get away with that type of filth is because they don't serve food! The store downstairs, for being a tourist beachy store was very nice, though, so.... When you walk up the stairs to the tag, the floor gets dirtier and dirtier! I wonder if Mary Esther Laser Tag is better? read more

When Destin is being hit with a tropical storm and outdoor activities are off-limits, you just might be desperate enough to endure this, but otherwise I'd give it a pass. Staff was friendly enough but the course itself was poorly maintained and certainly not clean. I feel pretty certain that news of the invention of a vacuum cleaner will come as a huge shock to whoever is charged with the maintenance of this place as well as simple glue for putting carpet back in place. Again, when there are few other choices due to weather it'll pass as a time-killer but don't expect much more. read more
