We reserved a "special" extra large premium area so they could be together along with their own bedding and toys. We got home a day early and stopped in to pick them up. They told us to wait out front while they got them but I followed them in anxious to see my "babies" They were in small individual cages well apart from each other, wet, and no bedding or toys. To top it all off, these people had the audacity to try and charge us full price saying that they had only been moved temporarily while their original place was being cleaned. Problem was, I passed by their enclosure I had rented and reserved and there were other dogs in there. Next trip we brought our dogs to Cape Veterinary in Yarmouth. Beautiful place, clean and they took wonderful care of our pets.

It is a poor boarding facility without full time staff, not even during the days. There are two very hard working mother & daughter who handle everything, each is only there for 3 hours shift, one in the mornings and one in the afternoons to take care of everything (dogs that are boarding, dogs that are in their daycare, new clients evaluations etc.) She has to take all the boarding dogs out 3-4 times a day for bathroom break (no gate for dogs to outdoor space). the rest of the time, boarding dogs are sitting is small kennel with no ventilation for fresh air nor elevated beds to not be next to their feces (I guess to save money). very smelly, dark, isolated boarding area. shelter conditions are better. Do not board your dog there. For owner who is trying to remove negative reviews: NO, my dog did not fail your evaluation process. In fact, I have your form filled that your staff asked me to complete, sign and pay right then after their evolution (which I was not comfortable as I did not come there to make any reservation that day. it was just to see the facility) I would never board my dog there.

I approach services for…read moremy four-legged family members the same way I would if looking for daycare options for a small child. Our first fur-baby, our (then) 14 year old Shih Tzu had severe allergies and hair loss. Cheryl was amazingly gentle and calming while working with him. Whenever we brought him in, we could barely restrain him from getting to Cheryl. She took the time he needed to care for him properly, given his hair challenges. He had a final grooming with her (at 17) before we took him to the Rainbow Bridge. She cried as much as we did. We waited a little over a year before making the decision to get another dog. A Shih Tzu mixed rescue, renamed Chewbacca. While in different foster homes for almost two years, he definately had some serious trust issues but he really needed grooming. He was a little aggressive but was slowly learning to trust his new Mom, Dad and his older brother, 12 year old (abandoned while moving) kitty, Leonardo DiCatprio. Leo took to him and I think he realized his new brother had come from a difficult situation. They sleep in beds next to each other. Cheryl took him as her last appointment of the day. She said his mats were so bad that he really would not be able to settle into the time it would take for his hair to be done. Shaved down. Bathed twice. He had an appointment with the Vet the following day. Cheryl suggested they check his right ear. She thought it might be infected. She was right. Chewbacca was much better after his ear treatment along with new healthier food, shots, some toys and his medication. His hair/fur and nails have never been better. He still forgets sometimes but he is easily reminded. He has added an abudance of love to our family. He loves Cheryl and will quickly roll over onto his back for belly tickles. Thank you Cheryl for taking such good care of our fur-babies. Your gentle care has really helped Chewbacca to settle in and allow us to love him. I could have called anytime during business hours to check in on her. When i arrived she was her happy self. I did not opt for a bath and she was clean and smelled fine. As with most dog owners when they bring their pets to a place, we owners allow our dogs to void prior to bringing them into any place. As soon as my dogs finished voiding a woman by the name of "DEB" came out screaming stating "Don't let your dogs go on the grass!!" I said that my dogs just finished. When I brought my dogs inside she continued to berate me in front of her assistant stating, "I am tired of people letting their dogs go on the grass and their dogs scratching the grass and ignoring me" I had stated "Thats the first I have ever heard this and there are no signs" She then proceeded to state "Well you didn't listen to me" I then replied "But my dogs had already went and I didn't want them to do it in here" She then stated, "Just leave and don't come back" The unprofessional behavior and erractic behavior is no wonder why I have read other complaints about this place regarding the lack of professional decorum. I would never recommend this place to anyone that wants to board their pet. I feel badly for the owner Kay Kelley who had a great buisness that was recommended prior to allowing this manager "DEB" to take over. What buisness owner would ever want their customers to be treated in such a way? Too bad that DEB is the face for what used to be a great place.
