It was disorganized but I am not teaching so no biggie. I'm impressed with the front desk people, they're incredibly polite and informative. I'm brand new, on the family plan with my best friend, and I have got to go more often. One of my arms is smaller than the other in tone and muscle so I need to deal with that over time. I went in without goals because it was a big surprise. I take most of my exercise outdoors so I need to build my own incentive to head to the gym. One of those incentives is definitely auto pay! And complimentary coffee. And a really nice locker room. I am one of those women who loves watching her man lift, but I need to train beside him and support him in his strength building.

Staff at the front desk were fun and the guest sign in process was easy, though not accurate. It said I would have to download their app (which I didn't want to do) but in the end I just had to completed a simple web form and my friend scanned a code and we were off to the races (well, okay, the locker room). There were a wide variety of machines to choose from and I appreciated that sanitizing stations were never more than a few steps away. The lockers are bare-bones and require a lock (guess the built in locks are for fancier gyms), though most of them are really quite small and would be difficult to stuff a duffel bag AND a winter coat inside, what do they think this is, California? I also didn't love the guy using the speakerphone feature of his cell the entire time he was changing and dropping a deuce, would have appreciated staff coming to ask him not to do that, but overall everyone I encountered was nice and the signs of "no judgments" and general support were great to see!

I finally decided to push myself and I'm so glad I went. I saw Suzanne this morning, and felt very welcomed. They had mounds of supplies like belts, blocks, and mats so you don't need anything other than your attendance to be successful. She led the class in a casual yet relaxing manner, and time felt like it flew by. She ended the class with an abundance of calming music, relaxing poses, and essential oils. I will for sure be back (this next week)!
