The reason there is one star is becauase we have to click on something. Talk about incompetent and dishonest. We made a reservation for snelimo for a pickup at hotel and drop off at the airport. We waited till 15 min after the scheduled pick up time and numerous calls when the driver finally called back to say she had a flat and that she would be there in 30 min. After finding another car service to take us, they called 45 min later to say they were at the hotel. Mistake #1. I spoke with the owner and he apologized and assured us that he would immediately refund the charges. A couple of weeks later, I emailed him and called b/c we did not see the reversal of charges. He said "his secretary must have missed it" and that he would take care of that day immediately. Mistake #2 Finally, after 45 days, I emailed and called twice. 2nd time when I got the owner, his response: "it's my day off, so I don't have to take care of this. I'm in my shorts and tshirt and I'm not in the mood. The more you talk about it will not do anything" and then he hung up. Mistake #3. This not a review, but a warning, do not use this company. I don't understand how this company is still running and why they're not shut down yet! Absolutely horrible people running this company if you ask me. They scam people and will leave you stranded. They left my friends and I stranded after we called our driver, Peter. He also drove off with a few of our belongings and luckily it wasn't anything extremely valuable, but still! You can't really get a grasp of just how bad this place is until you experience it for yourself. The other reviews are not exaggerating (don't forget to check out the filtered reviews where you'll find one about how the driver took advantage of a drunken party member and left alone with her, leaving the rest of the party stranded and another fun review where the driver got arrested). DO NOT use this place. The disgusting, beat up limo (that, for some reason, they don't picture on their website) was bad. The rude and unprofessional driver was bad. But our entire experience with this place can be summed up in one line - My friends had to call the cops on the driver on their wedding day. I think that pretty much sums it up. The funny part is that we were telling the horror story to someone at a party and she started telling a story about how she had recently been rear ended by a limo company. The driver refused to hand over his insurance information and when he called his boss in front of her he had a conversation in Spanish. Apparently when he was cursing her out he didn't realize that she also spoke Spanish. Turns out the guy didn't have insurance and his license was suspended. The driver's dispatcher showed up and the cops found out that that guy didn't have a license either. We had a really good laugh at the end of the story when we asked what the name of the company was and, of course, it Southern New England Limo. I can't stress enough how much you do not want to use this place. If there's some sort of nuclear warfare and the only thing left in the world are cockoroaches and these guys and you reeeally need a limo then make sure you check their paperwork. They have a history of being uninsured, unlicensed, and uninspected. Their vehicles and drivers are not always legally on the road. read more

I have used Destiny for the last 20 yrs, mostly for service to and from Logan airport ...they provide great service and always gets me to my destination on time... I would highly recommend using the Company, avoid paying high parking fees and it's great having your ride waiting to pick you up when you return from a trip... read more

I've never wished more for a negative star rating. I am still in complete shock over the horrible excuse for a limo that brought us to my friend's wedding ceremony yesterday. I feel so terrible for her that she had to experience this on her special day! You're not going to believe what I am about to tell you, but I can assure you that not a single word of it is an exaggeration in the slightest. Do not EVER use this company! We were picked up by the limo at the hotel to be brought to the ceremony. It pulled up to the front door, and a few of us exchanged crinkled noses with each other over the exterior's condition. The passenger side was dented and the trim was rusted. The outside was filthy. The driver came around and just kind of stood there while we tried to figure out how to get the bride inside with her huge poofy dress. When I asked him what the best way for her to get in was, he just shrugged and said "however you want to do it." Thanks, bud. We finally all got into the sweltering dingy limo, and only after we were all loaded inside did he turn on the AC. You would think he would have had it going before picking us up, but nope. Half of the vents in the back didn't work, and we were instructed not to touch the AC controls because it might randomly turn to heat. Fortunately the bride had one of the few working vents blowing directly on her, so she didn't sweat to death in her 25 pound dress. The other bridesmaids and I were pretty concerned about having sweat marks on our dresses because it was so hot for the entire 30 minute ride to the ceremony. The mirrors on the ceiling and walls weren't clean, there were empty holes where some of the vents once were, and when the driver pushed the accelerator, there was an extremely loud roar that was so loud, we couldn't hear each other speak. The father of the bride and the bride said there was an exhaust leak near where they were sitting and the fumes were making them feel sick. Just what everyone needs before walking down the aisle... to inhale some exhaust fumes. I personally thought the odor of the interior resembled faded cat urine. I got a headache and felt sick after the ride. We arrived at the ceremony early, so everyone but the bride quickly escaped the suffocating and smelly limo. The mother of the bride began snapping pictures of the horrible condition of the exterior, and while doing so, found the inspection sticker had expired 7 months ago. When the driver was asked to produce the vehicle's registration, he was unable to do so. The bride's uncle called the police, and they came and asked the driver to remove the vehicle from the premises, and the bride and groom were deprived of their limo ride to the reception. I am completely disgusted with this horrible excuse for a company. I can't believe any company would send such a dirty, disgusting, and ILLEGAL vehicle to someone's wedding. The limo is a very important part of a wedding, and they are not exactly cheap! Fortunately, the bride took it well and didn't let it ruin her special day. I hope they don't have to pay a cent to this company. In fact, I hope they report them to the Better Business Bureau. Do not ever use this company! Rather than one of the very nice limousines they feature on their website, you could end up in the death trap they gave us. This limo service deserves ZERO stars. where to start..... The bus looked NOTHING like the pictures, VISIBLY dirty windows and mirrows. no toilet paper on the roll. no water, ice or cups, all of which were promised. The driver SWORE at us multiple times , and i quote "Close the F***ING DOOR". Stopped at a rest stop on our way to boston to get gas, asked US for toll money. claimed we would be charged $400 for a dirty bus (cups, beer bottles ect) but said we werent aloud to clean it...? GOT ARRESTED BY MY SCHOOLS CAMPUS POLICE for having a SUSPENDED LICENSE AND A WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST! when asked for a refund they refused. Also thoe owner sent my mother VERY RUDE emails, bashing me and my friends, saying "we werent the angels she thinks we are" We have MULTIPLE pictures from when we were on the bus PROVING we did nothing unrational or out of control as a graduating senior in college with a degree in business let me tell you this is NO WAY to run a business!! read more

This limo company stole over $500 from my daughter and her friends. it was her 21st birthday. she and her friends scrapped enough money together to take a limo and be safe on this special night. the limo driver took $530 cash from them. he did not give them a receipt. A week later we noticed the same charge was on my daughters credit card. after over 20 calls to the owner of the company and repeated promises to refund the money i realize we were never going to see this money. I contacted Limo.com which is the service that directed us to this company and they were not able to help us. I contacted the credit card company but without a receipt there was really nothing they could do DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY no matter what. their actions were criminal!! read more

This place is horrible. It's nothing but a scam! The Limo driver asked for the money, dropped of my friends and I at dinner, then left! No morals at all. Peter is the limo driver's name. He left 10 girls stranded. No guilt at all. We call the limo driver numerous times. Finally our calls went straight to voicemail. It is very hard to describe how awful this company really was (Southern New England Limo's http://www.snelimo.com/). The first sign was when they hit our credit card for full payment in a couple days when they said they wouldn't charge the full payment until just before the wedding, we then couldn't get are money back and change companies so we were stuck. Then the guy showed up to get the grooms men and hit a parked car in the parking lot of the country club and did not say anything to the country club. When the guys got into the so called party bus the amount of seats looked a little less than what was promised a 26 passenger bus was promised and a 14-16 passenger bus showed up if all of the wasn't bad enough it continues to get much worse. The bus was falling apart no A/C the door was not safe and was back yard custom to keep closed and the emergency exit was boarded up and screwed closed and would not open. Every bump we hit the bus would fall apart even more and the exhaust fumes entered the bus, the list goes on for how ratty this thing was not up to code or legal. He picked guys up and dropped us off at church now time to get girls and ice because they didn't have any. He passed the salon for the girls and was late my poor grandmother chased after the bus down the road to get his attention. They finally got on the bus and made it to the church a little late. After the mass we all took our pictures and got on the bus to go to the hall it wasn't until we all got on the bus that we realized it was 6 or so seats to small. Having a couple pregnant brides' maids on the bus really made us notice the exhaust fumes. Overall there were many more things that were wrong with this company but the kicker was when the driver told the groom he cannot leave his car keys on the bus he did not want anything to happen so the driver kindly offered to put them in his pocket and ensured the groom he would give him the keys before he left and it was until the bus left the groom noticed and called the company and they said "Yeah we can bring them back just need to charge you $125 for the keys for the guys time and gas" we obviously said no give us back the keys he then upped the price to $250. They still have the keys and we are in the process of dealing with this company. Hey! I rented the party bus for my 21st birthday on 8th January, 2011. I had a BAWL!!!! Everything went smoothly!!!! I must admit after reading the reviews online i was a bit nervous, but DAMN the prices are so good! So i decided to give the benefit of the doubt! It came 10 mins early. The bus driver Scott was super nice! He never complained about the noise level which i must say was EXTREMELY loud! My crowd was very wild, Scott if u read this SORRY hahaha!! Dealing with loud drunk people is never easy but he stayed very professional and friendly throughout the night! Everyone on the bus had a blast! the bus was exactly like the picture on the website, and very clean!! There were no surprise charges, everything was exactly how we discussed prior to the event. He dropped us off on time and didn't rush us off. I stayed back with a few friends to try and tidy up the bus, but Scott told us no worries they will do it! Highly recommended!!!! The owner Scott seemed pleasant and helpful when I called to reserve a limo for our wedding. I should have read the reviews first as my experience was anything but pleasant. The driver was obnoxious. The car was old, filthy and smelled of crap and exhaust fumes, windows didn't work and there was no airconditioning. It was basically a death trap. After 10 min I told the driver that I wanted to be taken back to my car as this was a safety hazard, and he stopped the car and wouldn't move it until we paid him in cash the balance owed. Of course I was on my way to MY WEDDING so didn't have a choice, but in other circumstances I may have called the police (like they need to deal with this nonsense). And of course Scott was conveniently not available when I tried to call to complain. I eventually did, and he was disinterested to say the least. I may still escalate this although I am not sure how, but I am not sure how he can live with treating people like this. STAY AWAY or BEWARE!!! read more
