After having had our 70ft pine tree in my backyard that's over 60 years old come crashing down in the early morning of 1/8/23 that flipped my storage building, ripped my gazebo apart and is fully covering my in ground pool/spa my home owners insurance wanted me to call places to get it removed. First thing Monday morning 1/9/23 I call the number in the Yelp listing where a woman answers the phone. I describe I need a large tree removed, it's size and location of problem. She tells me not a problem I will have Larry give you a call back within an hour and he can come look to them provide an estimate. I said great look forward to it. It's 1/11/23 at 2pm and Larry never called nor their staff even to say they are busy or swamped. As a custom home builder (licensed contractor) things get hectic and busy but don't lie and say someone by name will do something if they won't. That's the worst business treatment you can provide to people especially ones who deal in the home industry. We will never do business personally or professionally with this company ever. We had Destiny cut down a 40 foot mostly dead Deodar Cedar tree. It was very near a cyclone fence. They did an excellent job! And didn't harm our cyclone fence at all. They were so courteous, helpful & worked so hard. The cost was very reasonable considering the amount of work required. We will use them again & definitely do recommend them ! read more

I got quotes from 3 different companies, and I've used two other tree trimming companies in the past. Destiny Tree Care is by far the best choice in my opinion. I dealt with Larry, he was very friendly, punctual, funny and knowledgeable. Just make sure you don't need the job done right away, because this company is in high demand and you may have to wait about a week. I scheduled these guys to cut down a tree and I reserved the day to be home when they arrived. Martha called me 10 minutes before the appointment to tell me the client they were currently servicing offered them more work, and that Larry and his crew, as a result, would not be able to make it to my property. They offered more dates that conflicted with other plans I had, and since they suddenly made me feel second rate, I cancelled. Why would I ever give work to someone who just treated me this way? So scheduled appointment a WEEK ago with Destiny tree and someone named Larry was suppose to arrive between 4pm and 5pm. Didn't make any plans today because i wanted to be here for the time his reception picked although, i have a ton of stuff that I needed to do i chose to stay and be here for his arrival. Received a call at 10am on morning of appointment to verify; i called back and left message again verifying i would be home waiting to be here for estimate appointment...No SHOW ---NO CALL--Nothing... Destiny Tree CARE SUCKS...How dare they take UP MY TIME...what kind of company doesn't even call or text they are late or not coming? And contractors/landscapers/laborers who own their own business wonder why people don't pay for estimates or only want to deal with them when absolutely desperate...because bad companies like this that flake out on customers!!!! Larry and his crew was fantastic from beginning to end. When I first contacted Larry for a quote, he came out as promised at the agreed time. His quote was quite reasonable and a date was set to do the work. He and his crew showed up on time and the work began. When finished, Larry walked the job site with my wife and I and we were more than pleased. The pruning and trimming of the trees looked amazing and there was no sign of mess. The crew cleaned up so well, one would never know that someone was in the yard. I am not a customer of Destiny Tree Care Company but my property was affected by their work as follows. On Wednesday 19 September 2018 at approximately 9:00AM the Destiny Tree Care Company owned by Larry Isaac began trimming some trees on the property located at 3080 Argonaut Ave. in Rocklin, CA. That property owned by my backyard neighbor is separated from my property by a fence and the trees being trimmed were very close to the fence. While working in my garage I heard a loud crashing sound coming from my backyard. When I investigated I saw a large limb laying on the ground on my side of the fence and a piece of the limb laying on top of a PVC corrugated roofing panel attached to an exercise weight machine for the purpose of providing shade. That limb had broken through and cracked the PVC panel. When I spoke to the person trimming the tree and pointed out the damage he became very belligerent and in a loud and abusive voice stated that the PVC panel was already broken and that they weren't responsible for the damage and that they weren't going to repair/replace it then accusing me of trying to get something for free. He then recanted his statement saying they would replace it with an old used piece of PVC roofing panel and not a new one. About that time the foreman on the job looked over the fence viewing the damage, nodded and turned away without saying anything. A few minutes later I was walking over to my neighbor's house to obtain the name of the tree trimming company when I came across the foreman in his truck. During our conversation about the damage he said he would report it to the owner and gave me his business card. The next day I called the owner to discuss the damage and he stated that he was leaving that day on a 10 day trip out of town and he would check with the foreman and possibly have him take care of it. Five days later after not hearing from anyone I called the foreman to discuss the repair informing him that the owner of Destiny Tree Care Co. told me his foreman would take of the situation. The foreman asked me to take photos of the damaged panel (which I had done the day of the damage showing the holes and the branch on top of the panel) so they would know what to replace it with. The next day I emailed the photos along with explaining the type and color of panel to an email address the foreman gave me. That was on September 25th . It is now October 19th and I have yet to hear from anyone connected with the Destiny Tree Care Company. This was not an expensive fix, the cost of a new panel being under $20 and I am now prepared to repair it myself. What spurred this complaint against this company is their total lack of responsibility and action to rectify a situation caused by them and last but certainly not least is the lack of respect and the belligerent attitude of the employee that caused the damage in the first place. In addition, the employees of the above named company were also trimming some shrubs on the side of the property at 3080 Argonaut alone Union St. and left the sidewalk and street very messy with small branches and leaves. Even the owner of said property was unhappy with the work although they never made it an issue of it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE DESTINY TREE CARE COMPANY TO ANYONE. read more

Just had Larry and his crew out today to take down two huge trees, a liquid ambar and Monterey Pine in my front yard. They got the job done in one day, left my front yard, sidewalk and street cleaner than when they arrived. They were experienced, friendly and did a spectacular job. I always get about four estimates and Larry's bid beat everyone else. I have a couple additional trees that eventually will need to come down and I am calling them back! Great job guys!!! read more
