I can't address the quality of the detailing, so this rating is based only on my online interaction experience in obtaining a price estimate for having our motorhome detailed. First, I went their website which has a list of services and says the starting price for a "detailed RV wash" is $10 per foot. This is comparable to other companies who wash RVs. I also asked for some optional additional services which are listed on the website, but no pricing is given, i.e., the price for "polish & wax" (typically and additional $5 per foot) and for "oxidation removal". I also asked the cost for cleaning windows inside & outside. I wanted to know how much extra each of these services would cost. I waited a day and received no response. Second I called and nobody answered, so I left a voice mail referring to my website inquiry the day before and asked for a call back. Third, I decided to check their Yelp profile and look at reviews. There was a "request a quote" option which said they reply 100% of the time, usually within 2 hours. I asked for quotes on each of the services mentioned in the website inquiry. I also provided 5 pictures of my RV so they could see what it looked like. I received a Yelp response from Eric the owner several hours later; It simply said "We charge $30 per foot for full exterior detailing." Thanks, but that's not what I asked on my two requests for quote. In addition, the $960 price is about 80% higher than that quoted by other RV detailers. I have no idea how he priced a basic wash, how much extra is charged for a wax & polish, how much extra it costs for oxidation removal or if that is included in the price quoted. They didn't provide a quote for interior/exterior window cleaning. The quote didn't break out the services as requested, or describe what is included in a "full exterior detail". Based on the work taking the usual 8-12 hours, that comes to $80 - $120 per hour, including supplies. By comparison, another detailer quoted $550 for the job and two other quotes were $15 per foot and $20 per foot. The reviews on their service are glowing, but I'll never know because my experience getting price quotes and the exorbitant cost is a non-starter. read more

These guys are professionals. Our Ram 5500 and Northern Lite 10-2 look absolutely brand new. Our rig is only 1.5 yrs old, but we just completed a 100 day, 14,446 mile, 1671 gallons of diesel road trip to the four corners of the U.S. and it was a mess. Called several companies with mixed results. Eric got back to me almost immediately. We discussed the project, sent photos, and got a fair mid range quote back. Set up a date and they were here. This will now be my go-to detailer. I went to a detailer in Ballard about a year ago to have my FJ polished and waxed (roof was especially dull from sitting on dealer's lot). They completed the detail but the roof looked no different. They said paint correction service would be required. I contacted Detail Kings a few days ago and made an appointment for today. Was told all the roof needed was a good polish and they did a sample section of my roof to prove it. I purchased a full detail and my FJ looks like new. I would post pics, but it started raining. I just wanted to let everyone know about my positive experience with Detail Kings. I have a 19 bowrider with a red hull. The hull was badly oxidized and the detail kings came by and gave me a fair price to have the hull restored, remove the scratches and remove the stripe on it. These guys are serious. Spent two 6 hour days detailing my 12 year old mom-mobile until it looked like I just drove it off the dealer's lot. Some stains they couldn't correct, but the car still looks 100% better. I drove with toddlers for years, and now my teenage son won't be ashamed to drive it. Several months ago, we bought our first new (used) luxury car. An accident with coffee on the carpet prompted us to decide to get a much-desired full detail on our car. Contacted Detail Kings and they were able to fit us in just a few days later. Delayed due to weather, they were prompt and accurate with notifying us about changes in the appointment and more than willing to work with our schedule. Arrived on time and they worked really hard for several hours. Car. Looks. Amazing. I was expecting a nice job for the price, but it really is beautiful - it looks like it just rolled out of the showroom! Detail Kings NW exceeded my expectations completely. I contacted them for assistance when a neighbor of my construction site accidently scraped his Lexus across several bushes trying to avoid our material. After researching mobile detail companies I decided on DKNW. First I had them do my 2010 truck. It was impeccable when they finished. They spent twice the amount of time as my previous detailer making sure it was perfect. They had high end equipment and excellent customer service. Next day service matter of fact. I found these guys on Craigslist and picked them cause they gave me the best quote. I assumed they would just do a decent cleaning job my 20" SeaRay (all I wanted) but they spent all day buffing it out or something. I've had my boat detailed a couple times before but no one was ever able git rid of the dull spots in the fiberglass where the sun hit. They did, not sure what the trick was, seriously never seen the boat nicer and even did the carpet. The owner (I think he was the owner) was pretty cool and had a crew of three guys and a girl working most the day. All for less than others quoted me. Top notch work. read more

Unbelievable job! My 20' Glastron GT had oxidized over the winter and the vinyl interior had mold spots all over. I contacted Eric at Detail Kings NW and he and his crew crew came to my home to work on my boat. In all the years I have been getting my boat ready for the water, I have never had that as an option. Called these guys on a Friday morning who figured out how to get out to Tiger Mountain area that night to give me an estimate on a 30' RV. They showed up on Monday and spent all day and half the next buffing, waxing, and polishing the RV almost back to new. I was impressed with how they brought there knowledge and experience with different surfaces (i.e. gel coat) gained from detailing boats to this job. Eric @ Detail Kings has cleaned my 29 foot Searay twice now. Its the red one in the photo of him removing the oxidation off the red stripe.
