I included the measurements of the wall and a link to the paper. All 3 wrote back with almost the same price, but Detail Wallpaper was the only one that let me know I hadn't ordered enough paper. I ordered more (and they were right), and responses were fast, even on weeknight evenings. 2) The guys who did the install wore those coverings on their shoes in our house, and they also helped move furniture out of the room. Any furniture we couldn't move, they covered. 3) We had an intricate but large pattern, and they took the time to assess how it should be placed on the wall for symmetry and so that the best parts of the pattern (the monkeys) weren't cut off by wall edges or the window. 4) The finished result is fantastic - super smooth, looks gorgeous, and if you run your finger over the seams, you can't even feel them. These guys were great. The paper had overlays on the joints but they cut and butt jointed the paper. They didn't include this in their original estimate but they just chucked it in. No one can see where the seams are! They also cut into the edges and the results are perfect. As you can see from the photo it was a simple installation but had to be cut perfectly to make it look good. read more

I hired this company based off of their Yelp Reviews...and Yelp was right! They provided 5 star service. I wanted an accent wall in our nursery to have sort of a chevron print with navy and gold. I found the peel and stick wallpaper I wanted on Amazon, and figured I'd be able to watch a few tutorials and do it myself. I also figured I'd get a few quotes from businesses off of Yelp, just in case. After doing some research, I (quickly) realized there was no way I could get this done on my own. Kevin from Detailed Wall Installation not only answered me quickly via the direct message feature on Yelp, he was also very honest about what the job would entail and exactly how much it would cost (I provided him with the wall measurements and the screenshot of the type of wallpaper that I had purchased). We agreed to a day a couple of weeks out because it was his first available, and I was almost 7 months pregnant, so I still had some time. He actually ended up messaging me again and mentioned he had a cancellation, so he could come a week earlier--awesome, let's do this! Kevin arrived with 2 additional employees, and they got started. They explained everything they were going to do before they did it, and also verified I had enough wallpaper for what I wanted to do. They worked efficiently and took great pride in what they were doing. They had me check it a couple of times along the way to make sure I liked it, which I really appreciated. They fixed my wall before installing, which I'm pretty sure other people would have told me to have fixed and then have them come back. They also took my nest and the ugly panel behind it off the wall, they fixed the drywall around the nest so they could make the wallpaper look neat behind it. The nest has been an eyesore since I moved in and now I don't hate it! They did everything so quickly and left the room cleaner than they found it.
