To be honest the pizza itself wasn't anything to write home about. But this place is so much more than pizza. You enter by pulling a axe door handle. Then you find yourself in a small clothing boutique. Colorful shorts and tourist sweatshirts on all sides. This is a little disoriented, but don't worry you found Paris surf. Keep walking in and down three small steps and boom you're in a modern Pizzeria Cafe. They serve drinks ranging from beer to cocktails to Italian sodas and coffee. This is a place for families and friends to hang out. On Fridays and Saturdays they have live music performances. The vibe is really relaxed you don't even have to order anything then since it becomes a kind of community space. When I saw the wood fire grill I knew we were in for a treat. Now the pizza menu is quite long, so after studying we opted for a blue cheese and ham specialty pizza. I think that might have been a mistake because the teeny-tiny chopped toppings really blended together and the pizza was too salty for me to enjoy. I would come back and order another pizza maybe a simple Marguerita next time. For my vegan friend they were super accommodating and made a pizza with no cheese. This isn't so much of a super gourmet restaurant as it is a chill family friendly fast-casual place. Before you leave take a picture of the tiled stairs that say Paris loves you. This place is definitely instagrammable.

Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman. While he was serving another customer, I looked at their doughnuts and pastry items. There was a lot of variety, so it took some time for me to decide. Finally, I ordered chocolate glazed doughnut and spinach danish. In the afternoon, I ate the doughnut while my partner ate the danish. He said that he enjoyed it- the outer layer was soft and flaky and the inside had sufficient amount of filling. I enjoyed my doughnut- it was just the right amount of chocolate and the glaze had the right amount of sweetness. However, the texture of the doughnut was a little bit too dense for me, it was not as soft as I thought. The bakery carries other goods (e.g. cookies), food (e.g. sandwiches) and drinks (e.g. coffee). If you are visiting Paris, drop by early in the morning, so that you can pick what you would like to eat or drink!

I ordered up a quarter chicken diner with the upgraded Mac and cheese as a side. My order came out promptly and all was quite good. They have a condiment basket at the table with their various BBQ sauces to try. The only thing I would comment on was that the food was just barely warm and that the sauce for the mac and cheese was kind of clumpy. Would have been nice if they put it under the broiler for a minute and added some green onion on top. Will come back in the future to try some more on their menu.

You try to do pick up and they have no "take out" spots left and refuse to make an extra sandwich for pick up. Literally every time I go there there is some issue and they are very unapologetic. Last time we were parked in front trying to get 2 sandwiches, a woman hobbled in on a cane and came out 2 min later saying they wouldn't seat her because they "had no room at the counter." This place does everything to discourage customers. Message received. I don't care how good your bbq is, chasing away customers is a silly marketing strategy. I'm out.

We came here on Monday evening and we were excited to eat! We were greeted by a friendly staff at the front desk, who directed us to go up the stairs, where there will be patio seating areas. From there, another staff member confirmed our reservation and directed us to a seat. Our waitress welcomed us and brought the menu, then she left to get some cold water for us. My partner picked half pound of chicken wings with fries, and I chose Three Sisters Bowl. Both of us enjoyed our meal, our orders came out hot and fresh. The only downside was the portion size- we both felt that it was small in comparison to the price. During our meal, our waitress came by to check-in on us to make sure that we were enjoying our meal and had everything that we needed. The views were beautiful as we have read! This place gets very busy, so we would recommend that you make a reservation in advance!

The salad was very small and was rather boring. Still felt hungry after having it but didn't want to order anything else. The Baked chicken parm was food sized but they used packaged shredded cheese was very disappointing but the chicken was good. Pasta was pretty boring also because it looked like a home cooked meal and not restaurant quality. It was an okay sizw meal though. Service was rather slow and the server was not exceptional. The restaurant was not very busy and we still had to wait about fifteen minutes until we were seated. Didn't feel very welcomed. The ambiance was pretty good especially the patio area though. Music wasn't loud or overbearing and there were a couple of tvs by the bar that didnt have any sound coming out. The bar looked good and there was not a designated bartender maybe because it was lunchtime. The restroom was clean and odorless which is a plus.

FOOD: We had come here on a Tuesday afternoon at around…read more12:00 pm for lunch. When we had first sat down, we were told that all guests that were booked for that day were to receive the same type of lunch, which was the Informal Social Tea (Light), which came out to $19.95 per person. We were first given a plate of fruit, which included cut-up pears, cherries, and watermelon pieces. We did find the fruit to be very fresh, and enjoyed the presentation of it, which was nicely-situated on the small dish that was given to us. Next, we were given a dish of six scones, which we thought was quite generous as there were only two of us; a side dish included the devonshire cream and jam for the scones. We noticed that the scones were a bit hard, which tasted like they may have been left in the oven a bit too long as they were dark on the bottom. The taste of them was good though, they tasted fresh and appetizing, with sprinkled icing sugar on the top to sweeten the taste. Afterwards, we were given our tea, which was an oolong flavour, tasting absolutely divine! We loved how fresh the tea was, and how wonderful it went with our meal, such a great flavour. Along with the tea, we were given a small plate of strawberries for my little one that was with us, which we thought was such a nice thought from Judy (the owner). We also received a small dish of vegetables (cauliflower, pickles, carrots and peppers), which were based in a type of vinaigrette dressing. We weren't too keen on this option as we found it to be high on the vinegar-side, but appreciated the effort. The sandwiches were next, and were very appetizing to look at once they reached our table. We had three different types; one was egg salad on a yellow bread that was rolled into pinwheels, another was smoked-beef on toasted rye, and the last was a type of cold-cut with mustard on a rolled-up flatbread. In all honesty, all of the sandwiches were really well-done, with a lot of flavour in each of them. However, the best were the egg salad, which were perfectly rolled, with just the right amount of spice in them, and the smoked-beef on rye, which was grilled to perfection, and piping-hot (temperature-wise). We enjoyed the smoked-beef so much that we asked for more, and was willing to pay for them, but Judy gave them to us for free! Lastly, we received the plate of sweets, which included chocolate cupcakes, marzipan slices, cheesecake squares, ginger slices, and an almond cookie. Judy mentioned how each of these desserts were homemade, and it showed; they each tasted impeccable, boasting a savoury taste that stayed in our mouths long after we left. She was a wonderful baker, and we appreciated the efforts in her desserts! ATMOSPHERE: This tea room was situated on a quiet street in Paris, with ornate looking columns at the front of the home, and a historical feel that boasted a home from the Victorian-Era. We loved the little gate at the front of the home which welcomed us to the entrance, along with the picturesque landscaping in the front. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, with two large rooms at the front for diners, and a sunroom at the back overlooking the water, which is where we were situated. We loved the décor of the home, which had older pictures on the wall, and also the tables and chairs, which were cozy yet traditional. This truly felt like a home that was built in the Victorian-Era, which made us feel that we were dining at that time. It was also peaceful and quiet, which was what we were looking for when we attended. As we were seated near the kitchen, we did hear some extra noise from there however, not too much, only from time-to-time. SERVICE: We were served by Judy, who is the owner of the home and the tea room. She was wearing a beautiful costume reminiscent of the 1850s, which was a long skirt, long-sleeved blouse, and a wonderful brooch at the nape of her neck. We loved how her outfit made us feel even more like we were in the time-period mentioned. Judy was very attentive during our visit, even giving my son some toys to play with in-order to keep him occupied during our lunch. She came over to refill our teapots when needed, and even made us extra sandwiches without charging us. We loved how friendly she was, and would surely want to see her again. COST: Informal Social Tea (Light): $19.95/Each = $39.90 WOULD YOU RETURN? Without a doubt! We really enjoyed our time here, and felt that Judy pulled all of the stops to make sure we had a lunch we would never forget!
