Lemon Oat Bar

Cozy cafe on King Street in downtown Hamilton. Has a small walk-through gallery in the back too! Very stylish cafe overall. Staff is always very inviting and patient. I've been here a number of times. During my most recent visits I tried the seasonal drink Lavender Latte (though you can ask for this year round as a custom drink I believe). I've had it both iced and hot and it's a lovely drink. My friend ordered wine, and while there was no menu for it, one of the employees was kind enough to walk around the counter and walk her through each of the selections. Shared the Strawberry Sumac Oat Bar and the Lemon Oat Bar with a friend and both were great choices.

What an amazing renovation. Beautiful inside and outside. Right next to the park and downtown.

Love the set up of Redchurch Cafe + Gallery. The clean white decor, the spacious of the cafe itself with the Gallery at the back. I love the bar stool seating looking out into the main street with plenty of natural lights which is great for photo taking! You can order a coffee, fancy tea or even a beer/cocktail! I really love that idea. Great little cafe to hang out and have some down time while in Hamilton!

Interesting concept that combines café + gallery + bar (serves wine/beer)! Space is a bit narrow and deep, so it works perfectly for this multipurpose café. Barista seemed friendly and most of the prices were cheaper than most indie places in the GTA. Iced Americano was good! I believe they also will substitute non-dairy alternatives without a charge. There are soo many cafés nowadays that it's smart to have some sort of gimmick to make it stand out.

Cappuccino. 2 oz expresso shot with 6 oz hot water.

Had a cappuccino and my wife had a latte and a pumpkin chocolate chip loaf. The flavour of the coffee is very similar to another of our favourite coffee shops in Erin, Ontario. My wife said the pumpkin and chocolate chip loaf was to die for. The cappuccino was excellent. Better than the latte. We did curbside pick up and the order came ahead of the time scheduled which was great a d the girl serving us was super friendly. Their patio is nice with nice aesthetic seating and it's away from the traffic on the street so it's more distraction-free.

A truly great space to do work, have a meeting or grab a cup of coffee and read a book. Red Church has a nice interior with a neon sign so you can grab those insta pics of course! ;) The coffee is strong and the baristas are really nice! They also have a lovely selection of pastries and a side bar called the "shop" where you can buy your own brewing accessories and gifts. The pastries are also really good. I'm not sure if they do them in house but they seem to be fresh! The wifi is also strong so if you're a cafe hopper like me you'll appreciate the work environment here. The back Redchurch is a gallery space with rotating exhibits so always nice to see something new if you come back every so often. Definitely check out this space if you're into cute third wave coffee places and want a comfortable quiet place to work!

Conveniently located downtown, not hard to find, and quite spacious inside with plenty of small tables for meeting up with a friend or getting some work done alone. Did not notice any outlets though. The staff are quite knowledgeable about their java selection, so do ask questions. Not to mention the latte art is very symmetrical and pleasing. The coffee beans used here are supplied by De Mello Palheta (Toronto based). There is also an actual food menu, though very limited pastry options.

Great cafe with a few pastry options and an actual food menu. There is also free WiFi and lots of seating space for people looking for a nice work space. The only thing I didn't like was that it can get quite cold in the winter if you sit near the door (but there's so much seating that you'd definitely be able to find a spot further away!). Would definitely recommend :)

What a nice place! We stopped in for a drink after dinner. The staff was very friendly/especially the owner Stewart. It's our first visit to Canada and Hamilton and he regaled us with local history and ideas for outings for the remainder of our trip. I'll def go back before we leave for a coffee. What a versatile place-wine, beer, and coffee! Love visiting local places when we travel and you don't want to miss this one.

Beautiful gallery in the back!

I order the Maple Almond Latte which was not bad... but I wanted more maple & almond flavour. The presentation was lacking with just the cinnamon thrown on top. I guess I've been spoiled by cafes with cute little designs. Also all the flavor hangs out at the bottom... so next time I'll be sure to mix my drink before consuming. I also ordered their Mini Croissant which looked way better than it tasted. Instagram cute... flavour kinda forgettable. It had a piece of chocolate in it... The barista asked if I wanted it heated up and regrettably I declined. It would have been better to have that chocolate melted. Now the staff friendly and welcoming, which always makes any experience better. Again the atmosphere was stunning. One of the main reasons I'd come back. They have a section where they have all these big pillows. I loved that. Outside they had free 20-minute parking... the alternative was 10$ so I didn't stay very long. Overall I would recommend coming for the vibes not necessarily the specialty drinks. But to be fair I haven't tried them all. They also had pizza which looked very good and I overheard the barista say Sundays are their busiest day.

I also recommend this spot to pick up the best artisan style sourdough I've had in this area (if you're not close to Dear Grain Commissary in downtown Hamilton). Crunchy crust and the softest sourdough inside. Perfect for a fancy sandwich or to add to a charcuterie board! You won't regret it.

Unfortunately it was not available on my second visit so I ordered the cinnamon bun muffin and the cranberry orange donut and both were incredible. The muffin reminded me so much of the monkey bread and everything about it was perfect. The donut was outstanding and that cranberry orange flavor completely blew my mind. I truly hope it becomes a regular item. I also decided to try a slice of pizza since everyone always raves about it. To be honest I went in a little skeptical because when something is overly hyped it usually disappoints me. I was very wrong. I ordered the roni supreme with whipped ricotta hot honey and pepperoni and it absolutely knocked my taste buds down. The dough was light thin and crispy and the combination of hot honey with the whipped ricotta was mind blowing. It felt like opening Pandora's box and now I am wondering how I am ever going to get my summer body back. The service was fantastic and genuinely kind and even though it was busy they kept the line moving at a great pace. I have not yet sat inside because it tends to get crowded and I like my space but the interior is cute. If you can find a quieter time to enjoy your food I would definitely recommend staying.
