Last month my wife and I got married in my hometown Miami, FL. We were ecstatic to find Alicia during our wedding planning. Our experience with Alicia was fantastic from the jump! Communication was super easy and despite all her professional experience, she was incredibly open to hearing our ideas and suggesting places that fit our vision. The day of the shoot was just as great! Having already scouted out locations, we were able to move from spot-to-spot with efficiency to avoid the incoming swarm of people that typically crowd Mexico City's historical center. The pictures themselves are incredible; still a bit shocked at how she was able to take an ordinary setting and create an amazing picture & memory! My first experience with a photographer (EVER) was an amazing one thanks to Alicia!!! I got engaged a couple weeks ago and had a pre-planned vacation to Miami with my fiance so we decided to do our engagement photo-shoot while in Miami. I looked around on Yelp and contacted a couple photographers. Luckily, Alicia was one of the first few to reply (very quickly) and I am SO HAPPY I picked her! She suggested places near Miami that I might want to do the photo-shoot and even sent me articles on what to wear- super helpful! The park that we picked was perfection and exactly what I had in mind. The photo-shoot itself was a GREAT experience. She was kind and patient and the pictures turned out to be breathtaking. Although she works across the country--our wedding was in Miami, Fl--she managed to keep everything effortless and despite the distance and time changes she was never difficult to contact! Alicia unfortunately is now stuck with us for LIFE. My husband and I decided that we want her there for every single life event we have in the future. She shot both our engagement photos and wedding. Hands down, Alicia is fantastic. So casual, friendly, and talented. We were having a hard time finding the type of photographer we wanted and are so happy that we came across her website. We are both designers and wanted more authentic, candid photography style. We contacted her less than a month before our private wedding in Puerto Rico, and asked if she would be interested in traveling for a couple days to shoot our wedding, and with no issues she was able to fly down from Miami. We got married at this beautiful boutique hotel, The Gallery Inn in Viejo San Juan, and she came out the day before to do some scouting. The photos are so much more that we could have ever imagined. Alicia is now my go to photographer when I need self portraits, couple photos and even head shots ! I contacted her couple of months ago to photograph my boyfriend and I for some fun couple pictures, she responded within a day (which was pleasantly surprising not many people answer so quickly). At first, we were kinda hesitant because, well, it's awkward standing there and being photographed, to my surprise, she made us feel so comfortable that we forgot we were even taking photos.
