I visited and after having a pleasant first experience, I received an offer to purchase a package. I did so. With one remaining, I received a message asking me to book the last one soon. Options were limited so I selected what was available. A day or so later, I had death in the family so I canceled. The appointment was canceled four days in advance. I received a reply asking me if a week later at the same time would work. I indicated it wouldn't and that I'd contact her at a later time to reschedule. Agnes replied with. "Make sure you schedule asap. I'll get busy during the holiday season and will not be accepting the package next year". When it was purchased, an expiration was not mentioned or provided at any time. Upon hearing this, I pointed out that no timeframe was given and it appeared to be offered as a way to retain new clients. I also explained that this arbitrary decision was self serving and sent at a very difficult time for me. I went to explain I was dealing with death in the family and asked Agnes to put me down for ANY time between Dec 26-31 and I'd be there. Or, given the exchange. I offered to have her refund me via the method used (Zelle). To be clear, Agnes did NOT schedule me as requested and she did NOT return the money. In response to the comment below:: I told her I couldn't talk much more due to grief and she continued to send long paragraphs as if it was a lovers quarrel. I reminded her of her repeated pleas for "good" reviews and stated that this misleading and self serving practice is something others should be aware of. It's how others make informed decisions. I showed up for my visit a few minutes early. The person who checked me in did not speak English…read moreand she had food on her face and food all over her shirt. I was then escorted to a room with very little light and given no instructions until I asked. The masseuse walked in w/o knocking and not knowing if I was undressed and ready for it. Her phone text tone went off a few times while my session was going. I could hear loud talking in the hallway and at one point my masseuse was called out of the room. I think she left the room approximately 4 times during my massage and never covered me up. She sat on my butt w/ a towel in between to do a portion of the massage. There are so many more horrible things about this appointment but these are the main points. Oh and lastly the Groupon included a "hot stone" portion which was never done. Do not go here!
