This is my second attempt to get a decent massage away from the corporate big wigs such as Massage Envy or others. I tried the Swedish last time and the deep this visit, it wasn't much difference. One thing I care most about is professionalism and I wasn't too satisfied on either , they are understaffed so every few minutes when the phone rang or a customer came in my massage was interrupted completely killing the mood. I went to be relaxed and ended up leaving more annoyed than when I went in. This was my experience and may it apply to others but if you are in need of a quick massage I'd say hey try it out, as far as me I'll be seeking a new place or just waiting awhile before I return. read more

I'm a regular customer now. They have updated their place and added more private rooms. The prices have increased as with everything in the world but are still very reasonable. I love their massages. The menu and types of massages also have changed to give you more options. It's a very clean place, they take pride in their work. Meh...and Winnie the Pooh? First time there and super excited. Went for the 60 minute massage. Wasn't expecting to get a 15 min massage over the blanket that was strewn over me. The room was cold and I was frozen. The blanket finally moved away a bit and she rubbed warm oil so I started feeling a little better even though the blanket now didn't reach my feet...brrrr...it's 37 degrees outside. The rest of the massage was so meh. It's finally over and I start getting dressed. That's when I notice a picture of Winnie the Pooh dancing on the wall. I start reading the message and it states that if you ask for sexual services they will call the police. What does a dancing Winnie the Pooh have to do with that?!? Won't be back. read more

Worked well when I was in a bind. Things I liked: Ease of scheduling an appointment and flexibility Things I didn't like: Not sure the masseuse was licensed. A motivated boyfriend could have given the same massage so it was awkward. Not therapeutic at all. Masseuse was chewing gum loudly and that's a pet peeve I have. When I pulled up employees were out front smoking Way too expensive considering the level of service. Hand and stone across the street charges about the same and their therapists are licensed. I normally see someone in a chiropractor's office and she's amazing. Even they charge less for a massage, but I was desperate this weekend. At least now I know what it's like and I won't go back. The tip suggestion for "great" service, which was the middle option was 23% or 24%. I think it's so rude to have that up at the counter staring at you and it's really over reaching. For my service 20% would have been $12 but both the front desk person and my massage person were watching what I was writing in. You're asked to pay and tip before you even have the service done. She swiped my card and I told her I wasn't tipping until I had the service done. She "made an exception" and let me put the tip in afterwards. read more

So glad I came in here!!! Lisa did an amazing job on the 90 minute combo massage. She did a great job identifying my problem areas and giving them extra attention. I was also lucky enough to try the hot rocks which were amazing! If you're owing to add an upgrade I would definitely recommend trying them. Since moving to the northwest suburbs I've been trying to find a new place that has foot massages. I found this place and their hours were convenient. The place was very clean and the staff was really friendly. I got a foot massage (currently pregnant and can't get much of anything else). 30-minutes felt very brief but overall the massage was good and I was comfortable. It was a little pricey for just having a 30-minute foot massage so I might consider not going back until I can actually use more of the services and get more for my money. read more

I bought a massage package on Groupon since it was close to my home and knew the building they were located in. Got an appointment and went in. The lady at the desk was friendly and talkative. I was introduced to Owen and he asked my what I needed. Telling him briefly about the tightness in my back , he went to work. He found the spots that needed attention in no time. I called at 3:40p to see if they had anything at 4:30 the same day. The woman on the phone said she could fit in me at 4:45. I agree, that's fine. She calls me right back saying if I could move the appointment to 5, 5:15 is better because a person extended their time. She said if I needed to extend my time, I could do that. I said sure to 5:15 because she was really pushing the 5:15 slot. After driving all my way after work to get to the "spa" at 5:10 and parking, she called to say that the person that would be doing my massage would not be available until 6:15. Ridiculous. First time I went here was great. They just opened and she gave me a free eye mask as part of the massage. There was a deal she gave me for 29 for foot and body! Great! I called today and asked if she honor the same price. She said yes. I told her I would be there around 12:30- she called at 12:31 asking if I'm coming. I didn't think much of it until the massage was over. She didn't honor that discounted price. She asked how the lady who did my massage was and I said great. Then she points to this chart where the tips are charter out on their performance. I was in awe. I do not think it's appropriate to push someone to tip a certain amount. I gave a very nice tip, and didn't even complain about her not giving the price she told me on the phone. I felt that they are extremely pushy here. Calling me literally one min after I said I'll be there AROUND that time. They never require appointed nor are they certified massage therapist. I don't think I'll return. I have been to Foot Heaven Massage multiple times and always have a great experience. Sophia is truly incredible.. she targets the areas where she can feel there is tension and ensures the pressure is at your comfort level. I particularly prefer a deeper tissue massage and she delivers! She was extremely thorough on my shoulders where I needed attention the most. I called less than an hour before I wanted to come in and they were able to accommodate me. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and still feel like my tension has melted away and my shoulders feel so much lighter. If you are dealing with some serious deep knots, this is the place for you! I live up the the street. I moved to almighty from Chicago and I get regular massages usually in the city bc of my job and a shoulder injury. I've been to door heaven many times but this time I got Sophia. She was amazing. Very kind! When she realized the pain I was in she went above and beyond to try to help me. She is amazing. Great service! Wonderful staff! Everyone is so friendly. They have fantastic customer service!! I try to go regularly but usually as a walk in. They will sometimes give you a upgrade for free but you shouldn't expect this and just be happy if that happens. It's happens on serval occasions for me. I saw someone complain that they only got an eye pillow once but that's because it is an upgrade and they were not charging her for it. Maybe that one should be free (to be fair) BUT because it's not, it's not mean, it's nice that they did that for free. I don't understand the logic of being mad about not getting free stuff. Anyway! I love this place! They are kind hearted, good people and I try to get everyone I know to stop in, they fall in love once they do! read more
