My bf called this place to get his brake rotor and a brake caliper changed only on…read moreone tire (front driver side ) because he and his friend changed the other ones on the 3 other tires already. They just had a hard time with this tire. When he called this place, the man told him $220, then would call back and change the price and say $ 300, and he would have to get corrected by being told you just told me $220. Then the man would say, "Oh yeah, right, $220. Mind you, this is only for 1 tire. I think that's way too much for 1 tire, but anyways, the car ended up being in the shop for 1 day (to change a brake for one tire). The man called in the morning and said, "These are the wrong brakes and rotors, so I used mine and changed the other one in the front as well, so it's gonna be $450 now." Auto Zone helped find the correct brakes and rotors for the car and even so NOBODY TOLD YOU TO DO THAT. Soon as the car is being driven back home, it starts to smoke. Now the coolant is empty (never ever had this broken before), so had to go to the gas station to get something for it, poured some into the car, and drove a little down, and it's smoking again and the coolant back empty, so it's a leak. I called the man multiple times once the car started smoking and he's denying everything.

I used to live right behind this place so I would come here often to get my oil changed. I always…read moregot full synthetic oil and didn't have any issues until one day I decided to get an oil change before a road trip to New Mexico. Things seemed normal just as every other time I got my oil changed here. Fast forward to 1:00am the following morning as I'm passing Des Moines, Iowa. My oil light goes on and my engine starts going insane. Luckily I was able to make it off of the exit ramp and pull into a gas station that was in front of a hotel. We were now stranded in Iowa. We had to call a mechanic the following day and pay to have the car towed. Once they got our car up there and diagnosed the issue, they told us that our oil was filled TWO QUARTS MORE THAN WHAT THE CAR TAKES. The cost of taking the engine apart and attempting a repair, or replacing the engine was almost more than the car was worth. We were now out of a car and forced to purchase a new vehicle at a dealership in Iowa. On top of that, we lost out on two nights of the house we had pre paid and booked a year in advance and the cost of towing the vehicle back to dearborn and paying for a lawyer to take this case to small claims court made it completely unworthy it. That being said, a word to the wise, take your vehicle to a more professional shop. It's not worth the money you save to have your car destroyed by people that don't take their responsibility seriously.

When I got there the guy did not seem to intrested but mounted the tires and started to put them back on the vehicle. I asked him about balancing the tires andat first he said the machine is broke. Then he said not broken just not calibrated. He went on to say " thetiresare pre-balnced". Have worked on vehicles for over 50 years i knew this was Bull. I left called my salesman then went and had the tires properly balanced which the did need. On top of that the guy set the tire pressure way higher than recommended. For those out there that are not aware tires over inflated and out of balance not on impacts the ride of the vehicle it puts undue stress on the whole suspension system!
