Had purchased a laptop from a national chain with an extended warranty. Right before the extended warranty expired, the battery swelled and the laptop died. I sent in the laptop to the extended warranty company and they swapped out the battery. I didn't use the laptop for a few weeks but when I did the laptop had stopped charging the battery. By then the extended warranty period had expired. I went on Yelp trying to find a competent repair company and came across the Device Repair Shop, owner Carol. After describing the situation, Carol suggested that I leave the laptop with her to troubleshoot. She called back later to secure permission to update the operating system and bios. After updating the files she called to say that the computer was then taking a charge. Throughout this, Carol was patient and explained what processes she was going to undertake.
