**Beware of Ewing: Customer Service Disappears After the Sale!**…read more After years of purchasing materials from a reliable landscape supplier, I decided to give Ewing a shot, and it was a massive mistake. Initially, the staff was friendly and eager to make a sale, but things took a turn for the worse when they damaged my driveway during a materials delivery. The driver had ample space to pull in straight and dump the load, but instead, he chose to back in. As a result, he drove the semi-trailer tires over my driveway, tearing up the asphalt and creating a significant mess. I've had larger trucks deliver materials without any issues before, so this was unacceptable. I promptly reached out to Ewing, and the manager, Ricardo, told me to get a repair quote. I emphasized that we had a family event that weekend, and the damage was right at the entrance of my driveway. I remained calm and respectful, simply asking for them to do the right thing. Days passed, and my follow-up messages to Ricardo went unanswered. I gave him the benefit of the doubt due to the approaching weekend, but ultimately, I had to cover the $1,350 repair cost myself. When I finally heard back the following week, Ricardo informed me that his management didn't want to take responsibility for the damage their company caused. Incredible! There's a pattern with this shady company, see the photos attached of other unsatisfied customers that had their property damaged. If such damage occurred at their personal property, would they have simply brushed it off? Ewing is a greedy company with numerous locations. Save yourself the hassle--many other suppliers out there value customer service and accountability. Keep your business local!

He had gone a few times to get some feedback on a project he'd been planning and the female employee at the front desk was very helpful with giving suggestions and tips. When I went up a couple of weeks ago I was able to see the selection and we were able to speak to Jerry who showed us specific stones, their names, sizing and an estimate in pricing on the spot. There was another younger gentleman who saw us walking around and asked if we needed assistance later on. My husband had engaged with him in a convo before and joked around with him. We walked around and saw different sizes and colors and we ended up talking to a gentleman who was shoveling some finer rocks into some buckets that he had in his SUV. He was telling us about his project at his new home and showed the ideas from his query on ChatGPT!! Wow! That gave us an idea to try and upload ideas for our space using ChatGPT when I got home. It looked fabulous, gave some design suggestions and tidied up the space even though we didn't use the exact stone nor landscaping. We ended up buying some stones from here and some other plastic landscaping materials with stakes. There are tractors that will also load the rocks/mulch into your truck bed. We have running humor that he personally does the squeegee because my driveway is outlined with limestone rocks and he does a masterful job of sealing right up to the rocks without getting sealer on them. There was a section of pavement edge that had been repaired after a retaining support was added 15 years ago. The filler material had dried out, was falling apart and looked horrible. There was really no way to do a quality repair with what was there, so he cut out the entire edge, that had failed and laid new asphalt, which looks great and is a permanent repair. He also filled all the large cracks with a hot applied rubber. He seals with a material that is the only one that is still black after 3 years, by far the best I've had in my 20 years of owning this property. I highly recommend Daley and Son's Asphalt Sealcoating.
