Water is calm and wide-open from the launch site so you have plenty of time to get your sea legs before you set off. Excellent place for groups or families. Very affordable. Singles are $10 for one hour rental, $15 for two. Doubles are $15/20. Life jackets, complimentary! There is a much longer trip you can take, but I can't give pricing or comment since we did the shorter route. Standard disclosures and waivers must be signed. Staff give you all the low-down on the routes and what you can expect to see along the way. It was fun to paddle both open lake and river sections. On the lake we mingled with swans and lily pads, on the river we enjoyed some beautiful and quiet spots with overhanging trees and a nice, gentle current. Although this review is for the paddling company where you rent your equipment, I will add a brief note to say it is located in Indian Crossing Trails Park and there is a public, free launch in the same location. So if your friend has a kayak, but you don't, no one is left out! The park itself is a lovely location with convenient parking for kayakers bringing their own or renting.

Narrows to the Rescue!…read more My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary in a VRBO on Lake Morrison, and the Pontoon that came with our rental stalled out in the middle of Lake Randall:o! We could not immediately get in touch with the owner of the rental nor his caretaker, but Narrows Pontoon and Cottage rentals not only answered our call, they dispatched Jim and Jack immediately to our rescue! They towed us in to our dock perfectly, and would not take any money for the service, not even a cash tip. They were timely, professional, and saved our Anniversary! We left around 6am & as soon as we got out to our destination…read moreon the water, they moved like a well oiled machine to get 14 rigs set up, before they even had them all set up the walleye were biting. For about an hour we could hardly keep up! It was awesome, it wasn't fishing -IT WAS CATCHING. Within an 1.5-2 hrs we had already maxed our daily limit! I've NEVER done that so quickly. We caught 3 HUGE mamas too that ALMOST Michigan master angler size (only 2 inches off ), that was the peak moment of the trip. My brother & I booked this charter for our Dad for Father's Day, since somehow he had NEVER been walleye fishing. Needless to say this was the best first walleye fishing experience we could have had! Prior to booking I hopped on a call with Captain Ben & he was awesome, answered all my questions & got us booked with ease. A few days before, he checked in with me & reminded me to get our Ohio 1 day licenses - which I'm grateful for because I wouldn't have remembered He cleaned our walleye haul super quickly & did a great job, bagged em & we were on our merry way back home before 10 am! I would never use this launch. I could understand $25 for both but $50 dollars is ridiculously high.
