I've come here and had my radiator replaced several tires replaced and just now the other day I needed some breaks rotors and calipers. I do think that they were cheaper a few years ago but now they're kind of online with a lot of other places but not like Midas or such. Sam is very friendly and responsive. If you need to just roll up and get something done they are very fast. Average time for me has taken maybe an hour to get a lot of things done. You can bring your own parts or have them order it. Lots of the times I will bring my own and just pay for labor. Up to you. This past time I got front brake pads and a caliper replaced. The mechanic took me back to the shop and showed me what the difficulty was so that I didn't think I was getting scammed. I appreciate that and they remember every time that I bring my car in there. I found Bargain Towing online and they were a pleasant God send from start to finish. Sam was very communicative on the phone and gave the best quote in comparison to the other 5 companies I called. He kept me in the loop on what would happen and how soon the tow truck would arrive. And when Billy arrived to pickup my car he was extremely pleasant and talked me through everything he would be doing and dropped my car off safely at my house without incident. Hoping our paths do not need to cross again, lol, but if they do I have their number saved in my phone because they were a ray of sunshine after a gloomy moment. The arrived at the wrong location and kept saying they were only 20-30 minutes away... for 7 hours!! At that point they just started hanging up whenever they got a call for an update on when they were going to arrive. They left the 5 of us stranded (my wife, children and mother). As it got dark I called 911 to get a cruiser behind us due to it feeling so dangerous on the side of i69. Their address is State Street Ann Arbor of which my vehicle was less than 3 miles away. But he charge me $140 an hour from the time the truck left to the tribe the truck got back and that was from Brighton which is 30 minutes away. Did not discuss that there was an additional $90 call out fee and an additional $30 credit card fee. Mechanic came out was very pleasant but did no much about the excavator he was working on. I had to help him on Google to find out where the fuse box was the Solenoid was and how to lift the cab to get to the engine compartment. All the while my $140 an hour is ticking. At the end of it it turns out it was just a wire that was bad between the key and the starter. If he knew what he was doing he could've diagnosed that in less than 15 minutes. My final bill was $400. I can't say enough about getting all the information upfront with these guys or you will get burned badly.

He did not answer the phone professionally, but asked why I was calling. I said I was looking or tire repair and asked if this was Hayes. He asked what I wanted to get out of this conversation and I said I was trying to repair my tire. He asked where I worked and I told him. Then I asked again if this was Hayes and he didn't answer. Then he asked what kind of car I had. At this point, I hung up because it was getting really creepy. Then he started calling me every few minutes and then texting me, telling me I look weak and need to grow a pair. So yeah, I would skip this one. I see from the now closed shop in Ann Arbor that I'm not the only person who had this experience.
