One was a referral from a friend and the other was thru Service Magic (btw, avoid Service Magic if you don't want to get spammed with phone calls). Lenny's price came in between the other two, so he wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. What finally made the decision for me was his prompt and responsive service. Lenny is very professional and is very good at what he does. He also employs excellent carpenters in his staff, but I believe that the secret to his excellent service is his wife Lisa. She scheduled the work, took care of any changes, etc. and generally made my life easier by allowing my wife a contact person to handle all the details. The only reason that I did not give a full five stars is because Lenny didn't actually do the cabinet installation. It was done by another carpenter who works thru him, but was excellent none the less. Overall they did a very good job and I would hire Santosuosso & Sons again.

They remodeled our kitchen, dining room and downstairs bathroom, adding hardwood floors, moving walls, adding windows etc.. We had three separate jobs to do. Replacing a window, adding on to a deck and building a set of stairs. Dustin gave us a fair price for all three jobs, in line with other bids we received. Dustin was great to work with. He showed up when he said he would and completed all three jobs in a short period of time. He gave suggestions on how to make the designs better than what we had planned and did exceptional quality work. You could really tell that Dustin takes pride in the work he does. He did an excellent job cleaning up the work site and even raked out and reseeded a small section of lawn that had been damaged during the job. On top of all that, Dustin is just a very nice guy to deal with! I highly recommend Dustin McPherson of Macs Remodeling for any home improvement project that you need done. He sends his kids out to do the work, charges way to much, and doesn't follow up so I'd find someone else for that portion but the HVAC guy was awesome. The crew is absolutely incredible! I cannot express this enough. They weren't only respectful to us, but more importantly, they were respectful to each other. As any homeowner knows, it can be difficult having people working in your house. Not with this crew though! They showed up every day with a warm greeting, a friendly smile and a positive attitude. Their work was impeccable! Each one of them was knowledgeable and had their own specific talents. Glenn, the owner of the company was good-natured and easy to talk to. He oversaw the project but was easygoing and respectful to the men on the crew. Steve and John were extremely talented; building the walls, floors and ceilings. They have a talent for hanging sheetrock, mudding and sanding. Everything was flawless. They made sure everything was waterproofed to prevent any future problems. Among the crew is Bill. He used to work as a state inspector. He is knowledgeable in making sure every part of the project was safe and up to code. Brad and John are the painters, they are magicians when it comes to their painting skills. This entire crew showed great attention to detail. They cleaned daily as they went along and left the bathroom spotless at the end of each day during the project. They even swept the kitchen floor after bringing materials through the kitchen. They went above and beyond our expectations. We are excited to have them come back to remodel the kitchen very soon.

They are on-time every time, professional and there are no hidden fees. Everything is discussed up front and given to you in writing. They clean up the site and their work is excellent. I highly recommend them to be on anyone's short list for any job, big or small. You will not be disappointed.

I'm sure Cale (our builder) will love to hear how you boast a lifetime warranty but then deny your own work after the fact. I won't get into the nitty gritty but this guy lied about what our pricing included then told us at the end the price wasn't for the backsplash in our kitchen as well and he wanted additional money for it (new construction build). He didn't finish the job, we were left with the inner lip of our shower having no seal above the tile. The gap was big enough I could fit my fingers into it. Then he asked the painter to do caulk the lines by the ceiling which was his job. 4 months after we move in, our tile is cracked. Gee wonder why, would have nothing to do with the gaping hole you left in the seal, would it?

Didn't return my calls over the course of two business days. Will pursue other contractors.read more
