In addition, my data would be unrecoverable. So, after doing my own research into logic board repairs for my specific model, I learned that it was possible to fix my MacBook and recover my data. So, after searching for local specialists, I found ThinqMac. My first conversation with one of their employees immediately made me feel that I was in good hands. The gentleman corroborated a lot of the information I had found out through my own research. The technicians ran some tests on my computer and eventually sent it out to a company that specializes in logic board repair. Hubs would used Mop & Glo® every 6 months (maybe more than that) to give our floors a quick finish and shine- but over time, it just gave our floors a dull look. Got quotes from 2 different companies- with one of them visiting our house for an in-person consultation- but hubs felt his schtick wasn't solid. Hubs felt All Hardwood Floors' company's bio was straight to the point minus the gimmick and secured this job with the first payment (2nd during completion). Marcio and his 2 Portuguese-speaking guys came to our house 7:45 bright and early on a Saturday. Our house was a blank canvas before the guys came- as hubs and I had already cleared our house (entryway with a step, hallway, living room and dining room) a day prior. They took extra measures to plastic-cover our wall paintings and picture frames, kitchen was covered top to bottom and even though our doors were closed all the way, they sealed every slit with Painter's Tape. We opted for the 'Dustless' process- instead of the old-school process which leaves a lot of dust and lingers in the air even after the job is completed. The end result was fabulous and as their contract states- there was little to no dust after all was said and done. After trying to get said Norwalk appliance repair company on the phone, no one picked up when they were supposed to have been opened at 8 am. Then after a voicemail and finally a third attempt at eventually speaking to someone, my wife was on hold for 20 minutes. When she spoke with customer service, they said they couldn't help us based on her description of what was wrong with our dryer. When she asked for a referral, she was told to try Google. I don't want to name the other company, but like they said, you could probably Google it. That was the last straw. My wife called Dobson based on a recommendation from another service provider after a bit of a wild goose chase trying to find someone who could help us. They were available to come the next day, even as it was a 2-person job, since the washer and dryer were stacked. They showed up when they said they would. They wore masks the whole time. They diagnosed the problem. They pointed out what was wrong. They fixed issues that the prior service men neglected to fix the first time, in order to ensure our washer and dryer ran smoother. Apparently, the dryer vent wasn't hooked up properly, which may or may not have been the prior service providers fault, but Dobson made the fix nonetheless. They cleaned our ducts, as we asked.
