I have two kids so I appreciate that the property is gated and that the gates actually close unlike some other properties nearby. I also like that the office staff is very attentive and I even got a random "Merry Christmas" phone call. My apartment itself was brand new when I moved in. It has very nice upgrades and the space is practical for my family of four. I also like that I don't have to pay for private school since the designated school is really good. This actually ruled out other places when I was doing my apartment search because it was very important for me to have my kids attend an A+ school and now they do. If I had to say anything negative the only thing I would say is that it is on the higher end of the price range but for the upgrades, the safety, and the great schools, and our peace of mind, it's worth it!!! I would recommend this place to anybody.

It has a walk in shower in the master bedroom, rooms are a nice size. The front bedroom is a little larger but has a bathroom with a tub. The kitchen is beautiful. It has an open area so it doesn't feel closed in. I loved the set up. Lots of counter space and there is room for a few counter highth bar stools. The pantry is small so I also use the linen closet(in hall area) as a pantry. There is a hall closet and a nice size laundry room. You can put a rack or small table in there. There are two large walk in closets in both bedrooms. It has a nice size patio with a small storage closet. The complex is very nice. There is a workout room, a room where you can sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. There is a lobby that you can also sit and enjoy the fireplace during cold weather. There is a nice size pool. There is a barbecue area off of the pool. The residents are very nice. There are many senior and younger people living here. They have about 10 buildings with some having garages on the first floor. There are also garages throughout the property that you can rent. There are two sizes, large and regular with enough space for one vehicle and storage. It is located close to Hwy 21 and north of I-12. The office staff is wonderful and they have a great maintenance crew that takes care of all your needs. There are lots of restaurants, a Winn Dixie, Walgreens, CVS, gas stations, an Ochsner complex, and other businesses on Hwy 21. It is worth checking it out if you are looking for an apartment.

Animals are welcome here and there are no weight restriction for dogs. The staff is professional and courteous and quick to respond to my needs as a resident. It is very quiet here. The community is well lit up at night as well as gated so I feel safe walking in the community at night to get some exercise in. They do have an exercise gym and a pool. The apartments are spacious and the is no wasted space in the floor plan. Plus my apartment came with all the amenities I needed to start living in my home. I really love it here. I would recommend these apartments to anyone, especially if you have children or pets.

I explained I was moving to LA from FL and hadn't been able to find anyone to help me find a rental. Kellie immediately said she would have Renee Trahan call me the next day, a Saturday. The next morning, Renee called. Kellie and Renee were the first agents who offered to help me. I am looking for a rental and as we all know, agents don't make a whole lot off rentals, so I imagine that's why many were not interested in helping. Not the case with Kellie and Renee. They wanted to help me! Wow, did I get lucky finding Renee Trahan! Not only is she a fantastic realtor, she is funny and kind. She went out of her way to find me everything she could to meet my needs. She spent her entire Sunday with me and then I picked a place on my own which she completely supported. Wait for it... that one fell through, so I had to call Renee back. She went back to the MLS to search for more places AND went to look at them for me. Let me be clear, these aren't her listings! She is looking at other listings for me! I've dealt with realtors before and while they may be nice, they are not Renee Trahan. She covered all of the Northshore and even went to Metairie to check out a place! If you want a broker and a realtor who actually care about you and want you and your family to find the best place to live, you should reach out to Renee and Kellie at K2 Realty!
