I wrote back asking for them to redo some of my plants and add mulch. They came out and sent me a proposal for a reasonable price, but then I had to send several additional emails to get the work scheduled. Scheduling took a long time and although I asked to be home while they did the work and let them know when I had an appointment that day they arrived just as I was leaving, and while I was gone put the plants in all the wrong places. They came back and fixed it and again looked good. I contacted them because there was some areas where water was pooling so they said they'd come back to add some more mulch to fill in those areas. For some reason that took a month to get done with multiple additional email as follow up from them was often poor. They were again going to come out while I was home and assured me they'd call. Of course neither of those happened. Overall, while they work was good the process was horribly frustrating and I'll look elsewhere next year.

In or about the week of May 18, 2020, a water feature installed by Mr. David Berkshire, owner of…read moreWhispering Echoes Property Enhancement, L.L.C., began to malfunction. The motor produced an irregular noise and the water supply was compromised, rendering the feature unusable. I experienced a comparable issue with the unit in 2019 and Mr. Berkshire, upon my request, fixed the problem. Therefore, I contacted him to address this matter. Mr. Berkshire advised me to disassemble the waterfall, which is composed of rocks and boulders of considerable size, and search for overflow or leaks. On May 23, 2020, I did as he instructed. Neither overflow nor leaks were detected and the water level was normal. I reconstructed the feature and it operated properly for one day before the abnormal sound returned. On May 26, 2020, I contacted Mr. Berkshire via text message, informing him that, despite my attempt to repair it, the product remained defective; moreover, I should appreciate it if he would assess the situation. He did not respond. I texted him again on May 28, 2020 and asked if he received the text message sent on May 26. He replied, "Yes, very busy. I'll get to it in a few days." Eleven days later, on June 8, 2020, I had still yet to be contacted by Mr. Berkshire. So, I sent a text message, expressing my disappointment with his obvious lack of interest in solving the issue. Mr. Berkshire responded immediately. He recommended I repeat the deconstruction process and, once again, check for overflow or leaks. The message closed with a referral to Grunder Landscaping Company. Mr. Berkshire is acutely aware of a significant issue with the water feature he built for me. He willfully neglected my attempts to establish contact in order to rectify the problem. Upon deigning to respond, he suggested I duplicate a troubleshooting tactic, which was not effective the first time it was applied. Ultimately, Mr. Berkshire categorically refused to fix a problem with a water feature he installed. He clearly believes that is my responsibility - or that of the Grunder Landscaping Company.
