Dr. Ludu and his back office staff are just phenomenal, each time I go weather it's for a cleaning or for a fill they explain everything in grave detail so your not left in the dark about what's going to transpire. Kari their front office receptionist is the sweetest woman in the world she always greets you with a smile, every appointment I've ever made she's worked me into there schedule it doesn't matter if it's last minute or just by showing up to your appointment 20 mins early it's never a issue. DFD has been my dentist for more than a year. During my several visits I have found Mary (receptionist) to be very friendly and organized. She always calls to remind me of the next appointment. The two hygienist I have experienced are friendly and very capable. Both ensure you are comfortable. They take time to chat and explain what they will be doing. I have been seen by both the husband and wife. Both are very professional and take extrodinary measures (time and detail) to explain what the upcoming procedure entails. Husband and Wife from Seattle. Unfortunately, I am contacting you under poor circumstances. I appreciate the work you and your husband have done for us. Your work is commendable, although it left me questioning the need to replace 5 fillings! The issue is insurance and how it was validated. When I came to see you originally you performed an overall review of my teeth and suggested replacing some old fillings. You mentioned that the "White" fillings were the best and you would have Mary check to see if they were covered under my insurance. Mary instructed you and ultimately me that they were in fact covered. When the work was completed and the bills were sent to my insurance, they rejected the "White" fillings and paid you for the general silver filling, which is what I had and is acceptable to me. I explained this to Mary and that I did not feel that I am responsible for the difference in my bill. I called and ask to speak to you more than 3 times, Mary told me she would relay this and have you get in touch with me to resolve this, but instead, I received a bill collectors letter. I am hopeful we can solve this together. I will also be sending this letter to all of the credit bureaus to dispute this claim. read more

It was a while since I took the kids to the dentist during COVID. Dr. Sharma saw my 3 kids and took the time to address their individual needs with them personally and with me. She focused on oral hygiene, showing the kids how to properly take care of their teeth and discussed how parents can assist. The hygienists were great as well and very kid friendly. Recently, I was in need of a root canal but was hesitant to actually get the work done. I'd had a bad experience at the dentist when I was little and have difficulty actually getting numb for any dental procedure. This was my first root canal and I was searching for an office that would take my insurance and also assure me I would be in good hands. I found both Dr Ludu and his staff were very kind every step of the way. I won't lie, the procedure takes an hour + but Dr Ludu is a perfectionist and made sure that everything was "just so" before finishing up. I am a bit embarrassed to admit, I hadn't seen a dentist in about 4 years. I finally got roped in by a mailer that offered a full exam and cleaning for $100 for new patients! I came in, filled out a few forms, and got sat down by a very kind tech. She took great care in making sure I was comfortable during x-rays and photos, constantly checking if the plastic was hurting me. Meanwhile we chatted all about local hikes and such. She taught me about oral diseases, despite the fact I did not have one. When it became clear I did not know how to properly brush and floss, she showed me how and gave me a tooth brush and floss to bring home and start anew. When Dr. Sharma sat down to see me, I was her last patient which granted me about 15 minutes of free chatting about life before my actual exam started. I loved sharing viewpoints and gaining life advice since I am on the younger side and I felt she genuinely was invested in what I had to say. When the exam started, she explained in detail everything she saw and joked with me the whole time. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire exam and cleaning. When she finished, she said her goodbyes and I got a nice mint layer on my teeth before heading off! I will be returning! Definitely beats my old place, Tramanto Dental, which just made me feel like a number (and they couldn't take a patient till February, yikes!!!). My only note would be to make sure you do not have any plans in close succession because I was there for 2 hours! read more

I LOVE this dentist office and the people who work here. Mary who works up front is phenomenal. She runs the schedule and office like a boss, making every client feel heard and important. She goes above and beyond. Rose and Jeanna, the dental techs, are both extremely knowledgeable, kind and communicative; they go above and beyond as well! Actually, those characteristics describe everyone there. Dr. Ludu and Dr. Sharma are both incredibly skilled, and are my favorite dentists ever. They all make you feel like family. I've lived all over the country and I've never felt happy about going to any dentist, until now. My husband has lived all over the country and outside of it, and he feels the same way. I tried out the new husband and wife team near my Arizona house. The assistant who performs xrays was excellent, the husband dentist ok. I had my teeth cleaned and was told I had a crack on an older filling and to schedule another appt to have repaired. The second appt was with the wife to do the filling. This is where my dentist disaster occurred, in the chair, after 3 shots of novacaine. The wife dentist starts telling me that she and her husband do not agree on his assessment, that the repair may not be a simple repair but may require a crown once she begins. in fact she would almost guarantee it. I told her I am out, I did not come for a crown but a filling. Over and over we argued while I am in chair until finally I said take off bib, I am out of here. I left with a mouth full of novacaine. Never, ever would I recommend these two dentists. Accepted insurance and still billed me 35 dollars. Insult to an already sore mouth. My advice, find another dentist than Devoted Family. I tried out a new dentist in the neighborhood. I Received a cleaning and exam. The husband was very nice, included a free whitening on my teeth for being a new patient. During the review, Dr recommends that he replace all fillings in my mouth for no reason. The girl at the front desk is very nice but has no clue about insurance. So when you get a quote from them, it is incorrect, and they will charge you more than double. I did not have them repace any of my fillings, which resulted in not receiving my free teeth whitening, and they never called me for my next scheduled cleaning. No one likes a dentist that goes after your money first. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Sharma for over 10 years and wouldn't even consider another seeing another Dentist. My wife convinced me to change Dentists and it was the best advice she ever gave me lol! Seriously though, once Dr. Sharma took care of all of the issues that my previous Dentist struggled with and I haven't had any problems whatsoever with my teeth. She is not only very personable, funny and charming, she really understands what it takes to ensure that my Dental needs are taken care of and nothing has ever required rework because it wasn't done right the first time. It's also nice because she spends the time with her patients to fully document their needs and does the cleaning to ensure that it is done right, other Dentists just don't take the time.
