Completely useless and lazy. She had me coming repeatedly…read moreto no avail. I paid tons of copays for lab work and prescriptions (of which I told her I did not want to do) for her to only tell me what I DON'T have. She could not tell me what was wrong and was completely uninterested in finding out what the problem is. She just kept throwing medication and prescriptions at a dart board in the hopes that one worked and I hated each and everyone. She refused to give me my lab work, only "lab notes" on my xrays, and was completely willingly helpless when I requested a new referral to someone more qualified who could tell me what was wrong. I'd say she's a snake oil doctor who is only in her profession for treatment, not a cure or relief meaning she will only tell you what she doesn't know, roulette your health with pills until something magically works, and just hook you into coming back, not in actually trying to solve your problems. Save your time and find someone else who will take your concerns seriously and not gamble with them.

She accepted to see me when a few Rhomathologist out right refused to see me since I have multiple illnesses going at once. They said it was overwhelming for them to take me on. (Yes they said that to my face) She accepted to see me and treated me wonderfully. in her opinion dr refusing me because of my illness was some unheard-of story and shocking. I'm back to work , albeit not in optimum health, but it's the best I have been in so long. She is a wonderful doctor and human being.

They were able to electronically send over prescriptions and called me back right away with any questions or appointment adjustments. Dr. O'Connor is a very educated doctor. She knows endocrinology well and was able to answer every single question I had. (I had a lot as my thyroid dysfunction was something new to me.) She took her time during my examinations and explained everything going on step by step during the ultrasounds. I have seen her multiple times over the past year and couldn't be more happy with any other doctor and their staff.

As I arrived, a gentleman stepped out of the back of the office claiming he'd been there over an hour and hadn't been seen. I didn't pay much attention until I'd sat in the waiting room over 45 minutes, finally asking status and saying they're 45 minutes past my appointment time. The desk lady (think Monique?) was extremely curt and said she had no clue. I pressed asking her to check with a nurse in the back to give me some idea, but was told she wouldn't do that and it could be a while still. After pressing a few more times she finally admitted the doctor was in with a patient and still had another new patient to see before me...so it could still be an hour. An hour...after being already 45 minutes late? I asked if she had my phone number, she said yes, so I said I'd go run an errand or two and text me when they're getting close. She claimed she could not text, to which I replied you're welcome to call me or send an email. Desk lady was having none of it and told me she's "not going to do that". I tried reasoning with her saying it's extremely unprofessional to be that far behind and to not give other appointment patients a heads up, using analogies of dinner and flight reservations. She couldn't be bothered. I told her to refund my money and I'd go elsewhere. I'm sorry...but as a retiree who built a professional career on setting proper expectations, communicating effectively, negotiating efficiently, etc, this was unacceptable! As that was the "level of service" they were willing to offer, I highly recommend people take their medical business to an office that does care about the client experience.

I had a whole conversation with the receptionist that day plus obviously have the record of my phone call in my recent calls, as well as in the notes in my phone. The day prior to the scheduled appointment no one called us to remind us of the appointment, which I found odd, so I called on the morning of to confirm. I spoke with Rosa, who says the office has absolutely no record of the appointment I made and even if we had made an appointment, that they would need to reschedule because the doctor would be out of office this week. Note, I am an executive assistant for a living and I have never once had this happen in 6.5+ years of my work so I am not sure how this mishap happened. Also, she neglected to apologize for their mistake and just kept saying they didn't have an appointment for us and that we would need to reschedule. Not awesome...

While I understand the business needs of an office probably better than most, this is absolutely not how you talk to other humans. I was rudely informed that this provider does not see anyone with an HMO, but this could have all been different. I have a written referral to this provider. And while I get that contracts change all the time, that's no reason to abuse someone who calls seeking care that you cannot provide. There are plenty of other providers out there and, hopefully, they've hired staff who can do better.
